About: Experience with owning and caring for 4 dogs & 1 cat, in my household- at once. Over 16 years of experience with Dachshunds, Pitbullâs, Rottweilers, Chihuahuas, many breeds of cats, Flemish giant rabbits, and turtles. Enjoy being active and taking care of our little creature and otherâs loved ones! â¤ď¸ Every animal is different, so their care needs to be unique and carefully planned for their happiness. Giving lots of attention and love to your little creatures when you are working hard- and you donât have to rush home to let them out or feed them. Want to spend my free time helping and taking care of the beautiful and loving animals we have the chance to meet. Very fortunate enough to have many animals in my life. My schedule on the app is always up to date. If I am booked on the schedule, please still free to reach out, as cancelations happen! đ I just moved into a new house, so I created different spaces for the animals to safely play, and relax in. I am very flexible on drop off and pick up times. I love meeting new people, and have no problem traveling to clients houses to sit their animals. Overall, I love every type of animal, and even though I do not have a dog of my own currently, I hope to add a furry friend to my family shortly after I grow my family. :)
âOur terrier mix puppy has been going to Graceâs for a few weeks now (2x weekly for a full work day) and I canât say enough good things! My husband and I found Grace because on the days my husband canât come home during lunch, we didnât want our puppy to be crated or left unattended all day. Grace and her family treat our puppy like their own dog, she becomes part of their family while sheâs there. She gets tons of playtime, attention, affection. I absolutely love seeing the âreport cardâ pictures after each day. Itâs very clear my puppy is well cared for during her visits. Itâs now to the point when weâre pulling up to Graceâs, our puppy gets excited because she knows where sheâs at! 10/10 recommend!â

âMegan and Vitaliy are true dog lovers. They take care of my two boys as if they were their own. When my puppy wouldnât eat, Megan hand fed him to ensure he ate for the day. I love that they can run around outside in their huge fenced in yardâŚ. And because their dogs, Clover and Cooper are also small like my boys, they are supervised outside at all times due to the hawks in the area. My boys come home tired from playing and having so much fun. I would recommend Megan and Vitaliy to anyone for the care they provide.â

âChristie, was very kind to have accepted a last minute request to Daycare Pauley. She was very professional and good at handling Pauley. He was very happy with her and her dog was also very friendly with Pauley. definetly recommend her for dog sitting/ day care and or Boarding with her.â

âIt was our first time using Rover, but Alyssa helped explain everything and made us feel comfortable. She was also flexible about changing the initial date. We really appreciated how well Jude and Maddie were taken care of for the day! They seemed to have a great day!â
âLauren is very flexible and understanding and really great with Chai! Great with updates and giving Chai lots of opportunities to potty and exercise. Chai also gets along great with Laurenâs own pups!â

About: Iâve cared for the pets of friends and family for many years, and Iâd love to offer my help with your precious friends too! I currently have a Bassett hound/springer spaniel mix named Moody Blues, but enjoy dogs of all sizes and even the sassiest cats! This is currently my main job, so ensuring my flexibility for you is priority! I look forward to working with you to make sure your pets are cared for. I love to visit and take care of friends! For dogs, we can walk, play at home, I can bring Moody Blues if your dog would enjoy visits, and Iâm happy to take care of any cleanups or feedings as well. For my cat friends, Iâm happy to take care of the same things, with offers of cuddles and lap time in place of the walks for the indoor kitties.
About: Iâm a true dog enthusiast who was the primary caregiver for my German Shepherd, Jax, for almost 9 years until he passed away last year. During that time, I handled every aspect of his daily lifeâlong walks in any weather, scheduled feeding, plenty of play and exercise (he loved fetch!), grooming, basic training, vet appointments, and showering him with affection. Jax was a big, energetic boy with a strong personality, so Iâm very comfortable managing high-energy breeds, leash pulling, setting boundaries, and keeping routines consistent for a happy, well-behaved dog. Though I donât have a dog of my own right now, that deep experience has only strengthened my passion for caring for pups. Iâm excited to bring the same level of dedication, patience, and one-on-one attention to your dogâwhether itâs daily walks, drop-ins, boarding, or whatever they need. I always prioritize safety, follow your instructions closely, and send daily updates with photos so you never have to wonder how theyâre doing. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and Iâd love to earn yours. Feel free to ask any questions or set up a meet-and-greet! đž Honoring Jax by helping other dogs thrive.â I am a stay home mom currently working in an online certification so Iâm at home almost all day . I usually just need to take my daughter to and from school. On weekends I am mostly home as well. I have a very big fence yard that I can play with your dog. He can lay down on my deck to soak some sun. I live in a safe neighborhood where I can take him for walks . Or I can cuddle him on my couch watching tv. He will receive all the attention he needs.

âKaren provided excellent care for my daughterâs dog Pippin! Pippin can be anxious but she was right at home with Karen and her dogs. Karen sent us lots of pictures and updates and was an overall outstanding dog sitter!â

âEmily was absolutely the best. She gave me updates on TJ while we were being tourists. Her home is very welcoming as is Emily. I immediately liked her from the moment we met. I felt very comfortable leaving TJ in Emilyâs capable hands. A bonus is her son played with TJ. Would book again if ever we are in the area again. Thank you Emily !!â

âWe were very impressed with Geosselynâs care of our dog! Her large fenced in backyard was perfect! Our dog seemed very comfortable with her! We highly recommend Geosselyn!â

âNew favorite sitter! Our boxer can be very anxious, especially her first few times somewhere. Arfel took such wonderful care of her and shared lots of pictures and updates. Ive never felt more comfortable leaving my dog somewhere before. We did a meet and greet before to ensure the dogs all got along. They have a huge fenced in back yard and deck. Highly recommend!â

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,481 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Chatham. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your petâwhether thatâs early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Chatham commute.
If your schedule changes, itâs best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
