“Communicative and professional! Put my mind at ease being away from my baby Gizmo in a new state for so long, but he fit in just fine and was very timely with responses! Would love to use again when we come up next year!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Arya as a dog sitter, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Arya was outstanding in his communication throughout the entire process, making sure I was informed with everything regarding my dogs. His knowledge of dog behavior and nutrition was impressive; I learned so much from our insightful conversations! He provided valuable feedback on my dogs' habits and needs, which I truly appreciated. I look forward to working with Arya again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a knowledgeable dog sitter!”
“Maple was in such good hands while we were gone! We got multiple pictures a day and Kylee and Mike were quick to respond with any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone needing someone to trust their dog with!”

“Deanna was excellent with Kobe. Kobe had been diagnosed with IVDD a day before he was scheduled to stay with Deanna. Deanna helped him in every way possible and then some, administered his meds and kept me up to date with everything. Highly recommended!”

“Our girl, Gracie stayed with Leslie for almost two weeks while we were away for vacation. I was apprehensive to leave her with someone that long, but my concerns immediately faded as soon as I met Leslie. She is the ultimate animal lover!!! She treated Gracie as if she was her own pet. Leslie sent texts, photos, and emails almost every other day. I whole-heartedly recommend Leslie to any dog owner and will definitely re-book with her in the future.”

“Jamie was great with our dog, Jack, and was very accommodating and easy for us to work with. At our meet and greet, Jack got so nervous he pooped on her carpet and she didn't bat an eye. Within seconds she had bags and spray at hand and we went on with the meet and greet like nothing ever happened. Her home is lovely and spacious and it is set up for multiple dogs to feel safe and comfortable. She provides crates, dog beds, couches and laps for any visitor to feel right at home. This was precisely the environment we wanted for Jack versus a sterile cage at a boarding facility. Jamie sent lots of pictures and video throughout Jack's stay and, although it made us miss him even more, it gave us so much peace of mind to see him happy and having fun with other dogs and Jamie's family. He got plenty of exercise walking their property on leash and through lots and lots of play. Thank you, Jamie, for hosting our beloved furbaby! Our minds are at ease knowing we have someone we can rely on in the future for our dog sitting needs.”

“Tharatip & Daniel did a fantastic job sitting for Chewie! They sent several pics and videos over the weekend while they watched her. They were treating her like part of their family which is what we were looking for. Thanks again!”

“We love Anjanette! She is our go-to sitter for whenever we are away. Milo is always excited to be with Anjanette and we know he will be treated as her family dog with love and care”

“Keylor and Grace were very accommodating when I was running late and when I picked Molly up earlier than expected. They were gracious and kind and took very good care of our Frenchie. She had such a good time with the bigger dogs; she was sad at home without them.”

“Travis was great with my dog, Bella! He took the time to introduce her to his dog in such a way that neither felt threatened and they are now good play buddies! He did a great job sending me updates, photos and videos and we will definitely be using him again!”

“Denise and Don were our pups home away from home. They are awesome dog people and we loved getting daily photos and updates on our fur babies. Their fenced yard put us at ease especially for our senior dog with dementia. They treated our pups like their own and would highly recommend! Accommodating, responsive, kind, and happy people. Heck, we could see ourselves hanging out with them.”

“I can’t say enough for the care that Emily gave to our Ezra. This was his first time away from home and I was a bit worried. But Emily put my mind at ease right away. I had complete confidence that he was safe and happy and even having his very own vacation. Home routine must seem a bit boring to him now! I guess we’ll just have to take another vacation so he can come back for more. We would very highly recommend Emily and will certainly choose her again. Love all of the updates and pix she took time to do! 🐶❤️Five stars ⭐️ all the way❣️”

“Nate & Aylissia are amazing. 5 stars 🌟 Great, friendly people. Clean home, inside and outside. No problem with communication. They sent me pictures and videos of my dog. Their dogs are beautiful and well behaved. Great experience overall. To be honest, they’re going to be my dog’s Godparents. No lie. I highly recommend that you book with this couple. I owe them so much. I truly do love them. Thanks for everything. I’ll be in touch soon.”

“Alyssa and Missy became fast friends on a rainy day. We received photos of Missy lounging in several locations throughout the day. We appreciate Alyssa's care of Missy and have already re-booked.”

“Fantastic care provided for our shitzu with updates and pictures. We were confident our little guy was in great hands and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

“Dajon did a wonderful job with Bandit, he kept us updated with videos of walking him. When I picked Bandit up he was mild manner and happy to see my Granddaughters. Would highly recommend Dajon to anyone who would need a dog sitter.”

96% of sitters in Chatham can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Chatham.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
