About: Hello, I’m Isabel! I live in Roanoke, Virginia, and I am happy to help you with any dog walking, house sitting, or drop-in visits you may need! I am an educator out of school for the summer, which means I’ve got lots of time to look after your pets. I am available during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and any other time that you may need some help. Your pets can expect plenty of attention and love while you are away! I make sure to send lots of pictures and give detailed updates of my time with them.

About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: I'm accustomed to feeding, walking, and giving oodles of love to cats and dogs after constantly growing up around animals. I've taken care of big and small dogs, including a range from chihuahuas to the biggest German shepherds I've ever seen. I am used to and comfortable with feeding/watering, walking, playing, cuddling, letting out, and bathing dogs and cats. I am more than happy to welcome your pet with open arms and tons of love! (Updated 9/12/24 6:00pm) Currently, I am available for house-sitting, check-ins and walks from 10am (EST) to 9pm, open all week aside from Friday — I am not available that day as of now. For house-sitting, I can arrive earlier or leave later if requested. I'm flexible and happy to communicate any schedule conflicts, special conditions, or different times. I like to introduce myself to an animal in an open, "hey, I'm here to be nice and friendly, maybe ask you to poop" kind of way, letting them sniff, touch, or watch me for as long as they need to in order to feel comfortable with me. I talk to pets in a calm, soft voice while I care for them, and follow their body language and any meows or barks that mean they may need something. I'm happy to follow any schedule they're accustomed to as well.

About: I have years of experience of animal handling. I have worked as a zoo educator and have pet sat for years. I have a passion for animals and their well being. I’m available most days for visits and overnight stays. You can contact me through the app and I will get back you as soon as possible. I have stayed overnight for clients many times and can provide excellent references. Some light house keeping is typically included for overnights unless specified otherwise.

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: Hi there! My name is Lacy, I've taken care of all different shapes and sizes of pets since I was very young. I worked at a doggy day care for a year, as well as a dog walking company in Los Angeles where I took 5-6 dogs at a time for walks/hikes. I have some experience with simple obedience training, such as proper leash manners and basic commands like sit, stay, wait & come. I will be happy to take your dogs on walks or hikes, I'm also happy to take care of cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, etc. Let me know if I can help! Thanks! My schedule varies from month to month but I will gladly help care for your fur babies whenever I can! My current living situation isn’t set up for me to keep pets at my home but I would love to take care of them in their own environment where they already feel comfortable and are familiar with the area!

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life, and adore all types of pets. I have experience with puppies, and house/pet sitting for both dog and cat parents. Under my care, your pets will be treated with the utmost love and affection. My job is to make sure your babies are as comfortable as possible, and ensure you a solid peace of mind while you’re away from them. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own! I currently work from home, and my schedule is pretty open, though I do travel between Columbia, SC and Roanoke, VA often for the time being. If interested in booking, at least 4 days of notice would be wonderful! Inside of your home, I will care for your pet the same way you would if you were home. I will follow specific instructions tailored to your pet, including feeding times, walks, medications, rules in the home, etc. I love going on walks, and stopping by for potty breaks as well, and will tailor the experience to your pet and what they need.

About: I am a previous Veterinary Assistant of 5 years who is now a SAHM. I would love to provide your fur baby with a pleasant time while you are away. I have knowledge to give medications/insulin if needed and know that some pets have specific diets and certain accommodations. I personally have 2 dogs and 3 cats myself so I can guarantee that they would be treated just as if they were my own animals. I am currently a SAHM so if the pet is animal friendly with cats and dogs they can stay here with me while away. If they are not then I am more than happy to load up my kiddo and come to your house to take care of them. However I can not do an overnight stay with them as my child needs to return home for bedtime in his crib. I can do drop in visits only or the pet can stay here at our home. If pets are in my home they must be cat friendly and dog friendly as I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. They will be leash walked and fed separately just as I do for my dogs. If they are a cat they will get their own litter box and space until they can get accustomed to everyone. I am also perfectly fine with going to your home where they are comfortable. I am fine with leash walking, cleaning litter boxes, feeding, administering medications, or really any special accommodations you may have just ask!

About: I have personal and professional experience with animals. I volunteered to walk service dogs in training year round for a local nonprofit service dogs organization. I was eventually hired and served as a volunteer coordinator and then promoted to coordinate events. I met inspiring dogs and people helping people. I have a natural connection with animals and am here to provide my service to the community, caring for animals and people. Part of caring for them is learning what makes them unique and how to create homeostasis. I can provide an observational report with training suggestions for you upon request. About: My childhood was filled of all kinds of pets and pups. My whole life I've always had at least 3 fury babies in my life. I was intrigued by how intelligent our pets are so I began to work with them. I'm very good with all kinds of training from pups, teens, to our grandparent's. I've trained dogs for a couple of friends as well as my grandma's farm dogs ( Great Pyrenees). Today I have four babies and they are all well trained. I have four large dogs that I take care of everyday. Once a day I take my dogs to the park for walks. we go on, hikes, swims, and we go to pet friendly areas for people connections. I would love to bring your loved one along with me. I have a perimeter collar for my hound dog and leashes with harnesses for my other three. I am very alert around my dogs . They are just like children you have to keep a close eye one them. My dogs are also inside dogs. I would treat ur dog like one of my own. Your baby is safe in my care.

About: I am a lover of all animals, especially dogs. I grew up with dogs of all kinds, big and small. Therefore, I know that dogs have different needs and personalities. About four years ago I got a puppy of my own and she has been an amazing companion. I also have experience working with special needs dogs as I have dog sat for a deaf Westie in the past. I would love to care for your pets! I am currently only available on the weekends for services including walks, boarding, and drop in visits. I am available for boarding or doggy daycare. About: My family farm is the Madd Hatchery in Hubert. It consists of approx. 40+ chickens, 3 dogs, 2 goats, 5 rabbits, and 10 indoor and/or barn felines. I was raised with animals - young, old, and ill or disabled. We adore the "misunderstood." Over a decade ago, I began my own first business - as an Administrative/Personal Assistant & Pet Caregiver. I solely did this from 2011 to 2017 while I was in school. From Kittens to Chickens is my pet care business now. About: I've worked as a veterinary assistant, equestrian barn manager and foster parent throughout a long career of caring for animals. I've also managed the Animal Care Department for a small farm and hardware store, and have owned dogs, cats and horses for most of my life. I have my own business teaching riding lessons, so I'm pretty flexible with scheduling throughout the week, and can arrange things to make sure your pets are taken care of! When visiting or walking your pet, I love to give extra snuggles and play time. I can play endless games of fetch, and can find all of the best scritchee spots.

About: I started off as a freshman in high school, cat sitting for a family friend every vacation where I cleaned the litter box, tidied up any messes, and fed. Now, I have worked at an animal shelter for almost two years (mainly with dogs). During this job I have gained extensive knowledge on dog behaviors, body language, and positive reinforcement training. Now I work at the Planned Pethood Clinic as a vet assistant. I can orally or topically medicate your furry friends if needed, even your difficult pets! The days i’m available are Tuesdays and Fridays.
