I’m a cat person and have been ever since I was a little girl. I have a maine coon mix at home that I adopted from a local shelter back in 2020 and the rest is history; he is my absolute best friend and I don’t know what I would do without him. I know how hard it can be to find someone who you trust enough to watch your fur babies, rest assured they will be in great hands. My cat at home has also had a urinary blockage before so I also know what to look for if that is an issue or concern you might have with your kitty at home while you’re away. I have friends who I’ve watched their cats and dogs for multiple times and it truly never feels like work to me because I love animals so much. I also want to mention that I also recognize not only am I pet sitting, but also caring for your home while you’re away. I take in packages left at the front door so you know they’re safe, water plant, do dishes, take out garbage, etc as long as you’re comfortable with it. Please let me know if this is something you would want in your home while I take care of your fur babies. :) A little more background about me: I’m 28 years old, I was working as a private contracting company for the Air Force, and I now am joining the army active duty. I leave El Paso November 18th, 2024 for training, so you’ll see that my availability is blocked out for a little bit but I will be back on Rover once my training is over! Right now I currently am training to join the army, and have full availability if you need it. I leave November 18th 2024 as you will see in my calendar, but I will be back on Rover after my training is complete. The pets in my home always are spoiled, they have so many toys, treats, etc. This is also a favorite of mine- spoiling others pets while I watch them :). I also like to send lots of pictures and videos along the way! Additionally, I promise to have excellent communication with you at all times!

About: Just like everyone else on Rover, I love animals! As a recent high school graduate, I plan on pursuing my goal of becoming Veterinarian by attending Texas A&M this fall, as an Animal Science major! Recently, I also graduated from my 2-year CVA( Certified Veterinary Assistant) program, during which I completed courses such as Animal Anatomy & Physiology and Animal handling, etc.. I also became CPR certified and Fear Free certified. I am especially proud of my Fear free certification because it taught me how to reduce the amount of stress and anxiety in animals to provide them with the best and safest experiences. Additionally, I have 235 hours of experience interning as a technician at the TLC Animal Hospital. Last but not least, I have 5 years experience raising and training my dogs Dado(Boxer) and Chuvah (Toy Poodle) with my dad. As a high school graduate I have the ENTIRE summer off. I’m available any the day of the week at any time, just let me know a couple days in advance so I can prepare to rearrange any plans:) Whenever I’m pet sitting, I always try my best to make the owner not only trust me with there beloved pet, but also their home. I try to replicate the trust I’d want to see in a sitter if I had left them with my fur baby and possessions and I live by the golden rule « Treat others how you want to be treated »

“Sydney was prompt, courteous and did a very good job with walking my dog, a high energy Viszla!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young family and friends have trusted me to ensure a safe home and fun time for their dogs. I work during the week and on the weekends I spend time with my family and dog on hikes and dog parks enjoying the outdoors. I live in a apartment but we do have a dog park in the complex as well as so many around us that we us.

About: As a Christian I know to love everyone like myself. But animals are impossible to love more than anything else. They are the most pure thing with the kindest angel heart. I also worked as a caregiver because I love helping everyone. I’m a full time student but caring for animals is my full time job. But it’s not work when you love what you do! I love seeing animals and being with animals all the time. I have a big backyard for animals to run and play as much as they’d like, including a big fence all around to prevent anyone coming in or them going out.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since i was a young girl and want to help people make sure their fur babies have the proper care while their at work or vacation. I currently work part time at a restaurant 4pm - 10pm mon - friday. available full time on the weekends to make sure your animals are well taken care of :) I have a fenced back yard with an outdoor empty kennel area and garage with heating. Inside i have two spare bedrooms for my cats so they can be put away if thats what you would prefer !!

About: I am a veterinary assistant, animals are my passion. I have been volunteering at animal shelters since a young age so I am very experienced with all different breeds and temperaments. I’ve also been having dogs and cats my whole life. I have a nice blasting AC to keep the animals cool and doggy pool outside if they enjoy swimming. If they do not know how to swim, I offer lessons, however if worried about drowning I can easily accommodate by fencing off the pool area. I have a German shepherd mix that loves other animals and people. He keeps me busy so you can catch me at the dog park, on a nice long hike/walk, or commuting to the lake to hear the waves and swim with my dogs. I work part time and going to school from home, thankfully my boyfriend helps me in between so I’m pretty much always available for bookings with the extra help. I start my days pretty early and end early but late on weekends. I have a large fenced in yard. My dog is free roaming all day and sleep inside with me at night. However I can crate during feeding times if necessary. I have an extra crate and plenty of snacks, treats, and toys. I am an army veteran, I can offer special discounts for other vets or military just message me about it. Due to the open availability in my schedule I pretty much spend all day everyday with my furry little friends. I fit them into my daily life's and cater to them as much as I possibly can. I wake up pretty early usually, as soon as I get up I take all the dogs out to the restroom outside. I clean their bowls and refill the gravity water bowl. Then I separate all dogs with their specific bowls and make their food, give them the first meal of the day as I cook my own breakfast. Then I take them on a nice walk to start the day off right in nature and walk off the food. I spend a couple hours doing my schoolwork from home then play with the dogs outside to get them a little tired for dinner. I feed the dogs again, let them outside for a couple hours under my supervision and then bring them all back inside when it's time for bed most days.
