About: Hi! My name is Andrea, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for many different kinds of pets. I currently have two dogs and three cats of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. I’ve had pets throughout my entire life and have spent several years pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just hanging out, I always make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’m experienced in administering different types of medications to cats and understand the patience and gentle approach it takes to make the process as stress-free as possible for our furry friends. I’m also happy to follow any specific care instructions to ensure your pet receives the attention they need. I’m currently a masters student, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I know it can be super hard to be away from those we love and that every pet has their own unique personality and routine, so I’m committed to following your instructions carefully to keep them happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care and give you peace of mind knowing your furry family members are in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I’m currently a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available for regular check-ins, walks, playtime, and overnight stays. Since I’m able to bring my schoolwork with me, I can comfortably spend extended time in your home while still keeping up with my studies and, most importantly, providing your pets with companionship and care. The safety and comfort of your pets is my top priority. When caring for pets in their home, I make sure to follow their normal routines and your specific instructions so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would want someone to show my own home and pets.
“She was wonderful!!! Very personable with my lab, Panini! I could tell Panini liked her at the meet and greet. She took great care of her and was great with communication. Highly recommend”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 5 years old and have owned more than three dogs throughout my life. I also have hands on experience from completing over 50 hours of volunteer work at El Paso Humane Society, where I helped groom, feed, and care for dogs while preparing them for adoption. I’m comfortable around dogs of different personalities and understand the importance of patience, and making them feel safe and loved. I am currently working part time on the weekends and I am attending UTEP as a sophomore. In weekends I would be available early mornings and weekdays would be early mornings along with afternoons. I have a big backyard for my dog to run around and get exercise and refill his water twice a day to keep up with him. At a client’s homes I will follow their instructions strictly. With my own dogs I give them all the walks they need to get exercise and have a fun day. I would treat a client’s dogs as my own.
“I cannot thank Kamila enough for the work that she provided me in caring for my dogs. Kamila is an amazing professional. She is very skilled in caring for animals and she projects an aura of professionalism that there is no need for any level of concern for the pet or the property. I left home totally confident that everything was going to ok. When I returned, she had not only done the contracted work but had gone above and beyond. Thank you very, very much!”

About: Hi, I’m Desiree! I’m 29 years old, and my love for animals has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and throughout my life I’ve opened my heart and home to many pets in need. I had the privilege of fostering animals for two years, caring for pets from different backgrounds and with different personalities. While I eventually stepped away from fostering because saying goodbye became so difficult, my passion for helping animals never faded. That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter. I’m also the proud dog mom of three amazing dogs of all sizes, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. When your pet is in my care, they’ll be treated like family—with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own dogs. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. I offer weekday, evening, and weekend availability with advance notice. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my highest priority. I carefully follow your instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special care your pet may need. I provide a clean, secure environment, constant supervision, and plenty of affection to help your pet feel at ease. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to give you peace of mind by providing reliable, compassionate care and keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet’s stay. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member and give them a fun, safe, and loving home away from home! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I can accommodate weekday, evening, and weekend bookings with advance notice. I make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and affection while they’re in my care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special needs. I maintain a clean, safe environment, provide constant supervision, and make sure pets feel relaxed and loved. I also have experience caring for my own dogs and understand the importance of patience and positive interactions.

“Allison was great with our shy Lola! She stayed with her a few nights. We got many updates, and photos. At her meet and greets Lola was very timid, as she is with everyone. By the second day, Allison had her on a leash for walking. That was a pretty big deal! The communication was great! We got stuck in the airport, and it was easy to contact Allison to come to our rescue! Well done! Thank you! Jody and Todd”

“Jacquiese did exactly what I laid out for them to do. She followed directions to a T, and my separation anxious dogs were much calmed than I seen before with sitters. I HIGHLY recommend Jacquiese.”

About: Animals have always been part of my life. I grew up with barn cats and have cared for dogs since childhood, giving me real experience and a natural, loving approach to pet care. I work Monday through Wednesday. I can also work Friday and Saturday if needed, and prefer to have Sundays off to maintain a balanced schedule. Currently living in a townhouse with a small fenced yard. Living with three dogs, we have 2 crates we use when all occupants are out of the house.

“Savannah did a wonderful job caring for our 17-year-old dog while we were away. She was prompt, courteous, and communicative throughout the entire experience. Our dog seemed very comfortable with her. What really stood out was Savannah's understanding of senior dogs. Because she has experience with an elderly dog of her own, she understands the extra attention, patience, and care that older pets often need. That gave us peace of mind knowing our senior dog was in such capable and compassionate hands. We would happily recommend Savannah to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 350 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Chamberino. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Chamberino walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Chamberino maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chamberino choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chamberino. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
