Allison is sweet and very kind. We felt comfortable with her and her communications. She followed our instructions for our dog (considerations for the heat, misting her down, checking her food and water, where to take her) and we know Gypsy was well taken care of. Recommend her and we'll book her again when we're back in the area.

About: Hi I'm aimee !! your pet's new favorite sitter. I'm a huge animal lover with a home full of personality-my senior dog who requires extra help, my two lovable cats one being quiet and other loving to cuddle 💗. So trust me, I understand that every pet is different, and that's exactly what I love most. I care for my pets as if they are real children cause they are all just so precious to me. im very gentle and patient with them as I have a senior dog who needs careful supervision and care, hes very sensitive to loud noises and what he eats so im always watching him like a hawk and making sure hes okay. While I also having a hyper cat who loves running around and making noise so im great at balancing two different personalities at once. I pay close attention to signals and body language, along with what they eat or drink since I know fur babies can be really sensitive and I know what is good and isnt for their health. Im very detail oriented. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or has a custom schedule. Please also let me know if they need any assistance doing anything such as jumping also where they are/arent allowed or if they have any habits youd like me to attend to. A typical day of fun would be makings sure the pets follow their normal routine. Then the fun would began !! We would typically go on a walk around the neighborhood or a friendly dog park. We would play catch, run around, sniff new scents maybe meet new people if the pet social or allowed. Then get some awarding healthy safe treats !! staying inside the home would be similar, except we would play inside the backyard, or inside. Throwing and catching toys, cuddling while dog enjoys a treat. I am currently working full time as a pet sitter. I haven availability all day everyday and will accept same day booking in case of emergency and if you just want to go somewhere last minute !! I care for my pets as if they are real children cause they are all just so precious to me. im very gentle and patient with them as I have a senior dog who needs careful supervision and care, hes very sensitive to loud noises and what he eats so im always watching him like a hawk and making sure hes okay. Emily was absolutely incredible. She was able to accommodate Malbec and I last minute. She was very nice and professional and my favorite was the fact that she kept updating me and sending pics. My boy was very happy and was so well taken care of. She went above and beyond making sure he had all he need at home before she left. I definitely recommend her to take care of any of your fur guys. Will definitely be using her again.

About: I have been around dogs and cats my entire life and have always had pets in my home since I was a child. I truly love all animals and feel very comfortable caring for pets of different sizes, ages, and personalities. ❤️ I currently have my own dog, so I understand daily routines, responsibility, and how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and loved. I started dog sitting for family members around age 15, caring for pets of all sizes and temperaments, including feeding, walking, playtime, and overnight stays. This gave me hands on experience maintaining routines and understanding different pet personalities. I am also comfortable administering basic medications such as oral pills and topical treatments, always following owner instructions carefully. I worked at PetSmart as a dog bather, where I gained experience safely bathing dogs, handling different coat types, and keeping pets calm and comfortable during grooming. This helped me develop patience, gentle handling skills, and the ability to read animal behavior. I treat every pet like my own and focus on creating a calm, loving, and safe environment. I’m reliable, attentive, and provide regular updates and photos so pet parents feel at ease. 🐶🐱🫶🏻 I work full time, but I’m available for weekday walks and weekend pet sitting when you need someone to care for your pets while you’re away. 🩷 A typical day in my care is calm, relaxed, and focused on making pets feel comfortable and loved. I enjoy spending time with them throughout the day, whether that’s relaxing together, watching TV, or simply keeping them company so they don’t feel alone. 🥹 I make sure to follow their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I also take time for enrichment and exercise, whether that’s playing outside, going for walks, or engaging them with toys. For pets who enjoy it, I also offer plenty of affection and cuddles, while always respecting their boundaries and letting them set the pace. My goal is to create a safe, low stress environment where they feel happy, secure, and cared for. ❤️

About: Hi! I’m someone who truly sees dogs as family not just pets. I’ve had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. From playful puppies to older dogs who need a little extra patience and love, I’m comfortable with all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m compassionate, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them the comfort and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I treat every dog I watch with the same love and care I give my own. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and routine are my top priorities. I’ll make sure they feel secure, loved, and right at home. As a full-time stay-at-home mom to my little ones, my days are built around care, routine, and a lot of love which naturally carries over into how I care for dogs. Our home is already full of activity, structure, and warmth, making it a comfortable and welcoming environment for dogs. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to easily fit in walks, playtime, feedings, and plenty of attention. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening care, I’m able to stay flexible and consistent with each dog’s routine. Having little ones also means we spend a lot of time outdoors and staying active, so dogs in my care get plenty of movement, stimulation, and companionship. Balancing motherhood and dog care comes naturally to me because both are rooted in patience, attentiveness, and genuine love. I’m used to multitasking, sticking to routines, and making sure everyone in my care feels safe, happy, and cared for. I have an unfenced yard and 1 friendly medium sized male dog to keep your fur baby company, friendly neighborhood, dog park up the road

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals at every stage of life. I don’t just “watch” pets — I care for them as if they were my own. I understand that each animal has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and happy. I have experience working with both young and senior pets. With puppies and young dogs, I am patient and consistent with basic training reinforcement, including potty routines, leash manners, and positive behavior habits. I know how important structure is during those early months, and I make sure to maintain the routine you’ve established. For senior pets, I provide gentle, attentive care and closely monitor mobility, medication schedules, and comfort needs. I understand that older animals often need extra patience, slower walks, and more frequent check-ins, and I’m comfortable administering oral medications if needed.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Chamberino

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 539 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Chamberino. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Chamberino. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Chamberino.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chamberino. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
