About: I’ve owned my own pets for 15+ years and grew up in a pet friendly home with cats and dogs. Super attentive to details and the needs and body language of our pets. I currently work M-F but have Friday afternoons and weekend availability to help with your pet care needs. Happy to help you with drop in visits and/or dog walks. I’m happy to help you with drop-in visits to check on your furry friends while you’re away or provide dog-walking. Great attention to detail and communication.

2. Caroline B.
About: Hello there, pet owners of Maryland! My name is Caroline, and I'm your friendly neighborhood pet sitter. I provide individualized attention and care, ensuring that each pet's unique needs are met. From feeding and cuddling to exercise and playtime, I'll make sure your pets feel loved and happy in your absence. I have certification in pet CPR by the American Red Cross, and I am a Fear Free Certified Professional, ensuring that I can provide the best care possible for fearful and anxious dogs and cats. I also have extensive experience working with young, elderly, special needs, and exotic animals from my time working in veterinary medicine, which I try to apply to every visit that I make. Whether you need someone to look after your pet for a day or a week, I'm here for you. If you're interested in learning more about my services or want to schedule a meet-and-greet, feel free to send me a message. Let's give your pets the care and attention they deserve! I'm usually free most week days and weekends. Because of my open schedule, I have the opportunity not only to watch your pets, but spend quality time with them as well. I firmly believe that establishing trust is the key to providing quality animal care. I currently care for five bearded dragons, three leopard geckos, ten dumpy tree frogs, one pacman frog, and two dogs. Additionally, one of my dogs is a trauma survivor and experiences challenges with overcoming her anxiety and fear towards unfamiliar humans. I try to show the same love and patience that I show her and my other pets to every new animal I meet.

3. Ashley C.
About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for neighbors since I was 12 years old. I’ve dog sat multiple types of dogs. I’ve done dog walking, check-in & potty break visits, and I’ve stayed at a clients home for long periods of time (5+ days) to be with their pups. I’ve also been tasked with administering insulin shots to dogs before. And I have a lot of experience with dogs that have anxiety, whether with new people, thunderstorms, or anything else, as I have one myself and a long remaining client of mine does as well. I’ve always loved dogs, having grown up having 2 smaller dogs myself. I am hoping to do pet sitting as a new permanent business, so I will have nothing but time to look after your pets! I will schedule out days and time periods based on client necessity and to provide the optimal care for your pets. Because I have two dogs myself, one of which has severe people and other animal anxiety, which for the safety of your pets and mine means I am unable to bring any pets into my home as of current. However, I’ve stayed at the homes of clients before to be with their pups while they’re away. I feed them every morning and night or make sure the food bowl is full depending on how the client feeds their dogs. I give them any medicine or joint tablets that they need to be well. I let them out multiple times a day whenever they need it. And I try to play with and pet them as much as I can while I’m there so they don’t miss their humans too much. I will even take them on a walk if allowed.

4. Chasity P.
About: I'm a very energetic person so I will always play with the pets and I'm always making sure they are well looked after. I have taken care of plenty of pets aging from young puppies and kittens to older. When taking care of cats I have plenty of toys and things for them to climb on. I have also taken care of pets that have special needs. Like diabetics and other things. I know how to give medications oral and in shot form. Special skills would be probably that I can keep up with any animal and I love all of them. They put a smile on my face. And I love seeing owners with the same smiles. It warms my heart every day. ? I'm usually free most of the day and love cuddles and walking with the pups and kitties. So scheduling will be easy and always available. I have a fenced in yard and a dog and cat that love others. We can play and go for walks. Also tons of activities to do.

6. Lisa M.
About: I’m a lifelong animal owner and “farm girl” with experience owning and working with dogs, cats, small animals, livestock, and even exotics. I previously worked as a small and large animal veterinary nurse. I am a full time teacher available early mornings and evenings on weekdays with more daytime flexibility during breaks and summer months. During the school year I am limited to before and after school hours. I care for your animal as if they were my own! I am attentive to your animal’s needs and will make sure to do things “your way” in order to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible!

7. Portia S.
“Portia worked for me for the past 1.5 years helping to take care of 40 horses a day at my farm. She also watched my dogs while I was away several occasions during that time frame. She is excellent with my dogs and they adore her! I have one older dog that is on multiple medications and has some special needs and she was able to easily give him the special care he needed. She is a hard worker and responsible person and I'd highly recommend her as your pet sitter!”

8. Cynthia R.
About: I have been born and raised to take care of any type of family member from the small lizard to largest dog to feathered friends and horses. I love all animals and I have family members of my own. Plus I have a little helper who isn't scared of anything and loves to help her momma as much as she can. I'm will to do what ever it takes to make sure everyone is a happy camper and provide the best care I can to keep your mind at ease knowing you family is in good hands. Feel free to ask me anything and if you have any special requests let me know I will do what I can to make it happen. I'll treat your kids as if they were my own. I'm currently employed part-time but I'm looking to get out of the retail business and starting my own pet sitting business where I can enjoy doing what I love. I currently live in a small apartment, so it ideal that I travel back and forth from my house to clients home. I have fur babies and a family of my own, hopefully when I get a home of my own I could introduce the doggy daycare and pet sitting at my home.

12. Madison P.
“Madison is a dream with dogs! I have a very shy German Shepherd/husky mix who is 2 years old. Madison was patient with him-talked in a soft voice, didn’t stand over him, but sat down so they were on the same level and let him warm up to her. By the time she was leaving he was sitting in her lap. She is responsible, warm hearted, and loves all animals like they are her own! 15/10 would recommend!!”

17. Deanna P.
About: I spent 4 yrs raising guide dogs for the blind, I have taken what I have learned and used it on my dogs and friends dogs. When I had my cat I got him a humidifier so he could breathe better. I just love being with animals they have beautiful personalities, and they show you all there love. I take care of animals cause it’s therapy for me. While taking care of your pet if you want overnights I prefer to do it in the clients home, that way your pet still has there crate or bed and there toys all with them and plus it doesn’t mess up there daily routine. Dogs do better with sitters then when you board them do to there out of there element and there scared . Please if you have any questions just ask and I will happily answer them. Thank you for reading I am able to dedicate weekends and any time during the day to watch your fur babies on weekdays. I enjoy being with animals no matter shape or size I have a fenced in yard, 3 chi/mix small dogs all vaccinated and no fleas or ticks. Able to feed, walk, cuddle, and medicate if needed to

19. Aribella H.
About: Overall I’ve assisted neighbors and friends growing up with their animals, whether it was taking them for walks, coming in to play or feed them, or just keep them company. I have two years of experience volunteering at the Humane Society, and I’ve come to learn that animals are just precious creatures who put me in a happy place, and I only wish to do the same for them. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies!! I currently work part time and my schedule won’t be as flexible until mid May as I am soon moving into bigger and better things! I have two very friendly cats, one belongs to me and one is my boyfriend’s brothers’ that we recently took in. My cat has a sensitive tummy and anxiety so he often needs me to administer meds and keep a strict feeding schedule that he’s been very comfortable with. He has a 5’4 cat tree and he loves lasers! I know what’s best for my babies and I would love to build trust with you and your pets as you know what’s best for yours!
