About: I bring a unique level of structure, energy, and reliability to pet care through my experience as a college coach. My daily work revolves around building routines, paying attention to small details, and making sure individuals are supported and performing at their best — and I carry that same approach into caring for dogs. I am highly dependable and organized, so you can trust that your dog’s schedule, feeding routine, and exercise needs will be handled consistently. I also bring an active lifestyle, which is great for dogs that need engaging walks, playtime, and attention. What sets me apart is the level of care and awareness I provide. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and any changes, and I prioritize clear communication so you always feel confident while you are away. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times My schedule is currently wide open following the end of the swim season, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care throughout the week and weekends. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. I create a safe, comfortable environment where your pet feels secure and cared for at all times. I pay close attention to their needs, keep a watchful eye during walks, and always make sure you are updated so you can relax knowing they are in good hands.
“Yenifer was a rare gem!! I was in town last minute with my dog, and she was amazing to accommodate Pancake for doggy day care with no notice. She kept me up to date and Pancake was so excited to see her the second day!”

“Patty was great! My dog Lexi had a wonderful time. We received many pictures during the day showing us how happy our dog was. Will definitely be using her again soon.”

“Mark & Sylva were great hosts for my dog when we needed a few hours of care while my son toured a nearby college. They were welcoming and kind and did a great job with her. I'd happily book again if we're in Troy in the future. Thank you!”
“Davis was a wonderful sitter for our pup, Beau. We left Beau with Davis, her partner, and her pups for a few hours while we went to a museum and Beau seemed perfectly content when we picked him up. Thanks, Davis!”

“Tetiana and her family have a loving, welcoming home and environment. We were met with smiles, shown around and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup. The communication during the booking process was great, as I had a number of questions. Tetiana was responsive and thorough. We found written Q&A better than a call. They were flexible with how we prefer care, food, exercise, rest, etc. We received nice pictures, videos and notes ... even though our stay was only 2 days. We will use Tetiana again when we have a need in the Berkshires, and I'd feel comfortable with longer if needed (and agreed upon). Each member of the family was fast friends with our dog.”

“Ericca was wonderful with our new dog, Arlo. Arlo is a rescue and he is reactive to other dogs and Ericca knew just how to handle him. Arlo spent the entire day with Ericca and he had a great time. We will definitely be working with her again!”

“Jess took great care of my pup and sent me lots of pics and updates throughout the day! She has a sweet dog, and her dog and mine played together all day. Uva came home fed, healthy and tired! Thank you Jess!”

“Devin was amazing at communicating and giving updates on how my dog was during the day. He made sure she got what she needed. He show me the fenced in yard where she had free roam to mess around in. I will definitely be using his services again in the future!”

About: Hi! My name is Maura and I live in Adams. I’ve lived and taught in the Berkshires for nineteen years, and I am looking to supplement my horse habit with another love of mine: pets! I have been pet sitting since childhood and have offered services in the Berkshires over the last few years for folks headed to music festivals or for a day on the slopes. I offer a variety of services including: dog walking, letting dogs out/play/cuddle time, cat and dog sitting in your home, house sitting, and small farm sitting. I also offer red light therapy sessions for pets small and large! I am currently in the process of developing a petBnB—a private pet boarding option at my home in a private pet guest house that opens to a fully fenced back yard. I will be able to accommodate up to three pets per single family at once (only one pet family at a time to keep everyone safe and happy!). If this interests you, please let me know! I have experience with all types of animals including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, hamsters/gerbils/rats, rabbits, ferrets, large aquariums, horses, cows, goats, and pigs. I’ve worked with small, medium, and large dogs of a variety of breeds, dispositions, and energy levels. The same applies to horses! I’m comfortable administering oral medication and caring for senior animals and baby animals. I can also administer medication to livestock with specific instructions. Additionally, I have experience sitting/running an equine boarding barn with 19 horses on the property. I also have experience with basic trick training and potty training for dogs. With horses, I am very comfortable working from the ground if you’d like to keep them in light work while you’re away! I understand how stressful it can be to board and/or travel with pets and my goal is to alleviate some of that. Here on vacation and need someone to let your dog out while you explore? Done. Headed out of the Berkshires for vacation and want to FaceTime your pup because you’re away? Give us a call! Headed out to the slopes for the day but have a new puppy who’s not potty trained yet? Let me help you out. I come armed with treats (if that’s ok!), a genuine, lifelong love for animals, and a personal understanding of the stress that worrying about your pet when you’re away can cause. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about availability or services! As I am currently on summer vacation, chances are, I’m available! Thanks and I hope to hear from you! I’m always running errands for my pets, spending time with my pets, or I’m at the barn with my horse. Taking care of the needs of my own pets is one of my top priorities, and I can easily work your furry friend into my schedule! It’s important that we discuss your specific expectations and needs as a pet owner/parent to ensure that you get the best care! Every pet owner and pet is different and I want to tailor my approach to what your pet is used to and comfortable with.
