About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, helping care for my family’s Border Collies, Kooikerhondjes, and Labradors. I’ve been walking, feeding, and playing with dogs since I was little, and I love their energy and how easy it is to connect with them. My sister is a dog breeder, so I’m used to being around all kinds of pups! I mostly offer dog walking and would love to keep your dog active, happy, and having fun outdoors. I’m a college student with classes during the day on weekdays, but I’m flexible and happy to work around my schedule. I’m usually available for morning and evening walks, and weekends work great too! I always make sure each dog gets plenty of time and attention. I always make sure dogs are safe and comfortable on our walks. There are some great nearby nature trails and parks where I can take them for exercise and fresh air, or I’m happy to walk them along their usual routes if the owner prefers. I keep a close eye on every dog and make sure they’re happy, secure, and having fun!
“Haley has been amazing! She’s super responsible, always leaves detailed reports with photos, and clearly cares so much about the dogs she works with. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my pup is in such good hands. Highly recommend her!”

About: Hi friends! My name is Clara, I am currently attending Cedarville as a sophomore nursing student. I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. I previously worked for Rover with my mom while I was in highschool. I have cared for puppies as well as senior dogs and for a variety of other pets with various ages over the years. I am dependable, hard-working, caring and loving. I love spending quality time with all animals whether it is stopping by for a drop in visit, taking a walk or staying at your house as I can't currently board animals while living on campus. Please feel free to reach out to us for all of your pet care needs! I have a fairly flexible schedule and am happy to accommodate! I’m currently in nursing school, so my availability varies slightly by day. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I have lectures at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, along with a lab from 1:00–2:15 PM. On Tuesdays, I have labs from 8:30–9:50 AM and 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, as well as a lecture at 2:00 PM. Thursdays include a lecture at 8:00 AM, another from 11:00 AM–12:50 PM, and a final lecture at 2:00 PM. On Fridays, I have clinical from 6:00–11:00 AM (though this is not every week, so I may have additional availability), along with a lab from 12:00–2:50 PM. I’m still very flexible outside of these times and happy to work around your pet’s needs—feel free to reach out! I will intentionally care for and love your pets as if they were my own and I will be sure to follow your instructions and guidelines with the utmost care!
“Alana was so good with our dogs and from the pictures, they seemed to really like her. I appreciated Alana’s promptness and that she followed all of our instructions.”

“Lashonna did a great job taking care of our 2 cats! She sent detailed updates and plenty of pictures with every visit. My kitties loved her and we wouldn’t hesitate to have her as our sitter in the future!”

“Leah was absolutely amazing the entire time! We were recently new to the area and were pretty nervous doing Rover for the first time. All of the anxiety and stress, went out the door once we met Leah and saw how caring she was for Loki. She was super attentive for his behavior and mood changes that happened. Couldn’t ask for a better person to watch our mischievous one.”

“I can’t say it enough, but Carrie is the best there is!! My girls adore her and are so happy after her visits. Carrie is very trustworthy and would have her in my home anytime. She is very caring and always so loving to my pups.”

“We were hesitant about the whole Rover service, but our first experience went so well, we will definitely use again when needed. Isabel is a delight! We had a great meet and greet and felt so confident when leaving for the week that our twins were in good hands. A huge relief. Then the visit reports began - so thorough! Lots of photos too! We are pretty sure our return home was a bit anticlimactic for the kitties - Isabel was so entertaining! Thank you!”

I’ve always loved being around dogs because they’re more than just pets—they’re family. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so my goal is to make sure both you and your pup feel comfortable from the very beginning. I’m the kind of person who enjoys getting outside for walks, playing fetch, giving belly rubs, or just relaxing with a dog that wants some company. Every dog is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their routine, personality, and what makes them happiest. I’m reliable, patient, and pay attention to the little things. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication exactly as instructed, or making sure your dog gets the exercise and love they need, I’ll care for them the same way I’d want someone to care for my own. You’ll get plenty of photo and video updates while you’re away, so you can relax knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and in good hands. I’d love the chance to meet you and your dog and become someone you can count on whenever you need a trusted sitter. I work full-time at Amazon, which has helped me become dependable, organized, and great at managing my time. When I’m not at work, I dedicate my time to caring for the dogs in my care. I keep my schedule up to date and only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the attention they deserve. Whether it’s before work, after work, or on my days off, your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, love, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I provide a clean, secure environment where your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
