I work PRN as CNA at the hospital in Springfield which requires reliability, work ethic and compassion. I have a dog and a cat that live at home as well but not currently with me at college. I previously worked for Rover with my mom while I was in highschool. I have cared for puppies as well as senior dogs and for a variety of other pets with various ages over the years. About: I have a wide range of experience with animals (dogs, cats, horses, rats, rabbits, goats, etc.) I grew up around animals and am currently going through school on the pre-vet track. I have helped some friends and neighbors care for their pets (baths, walks, nail clipping, etc.) I also currently work at petsmart I currently work and go to school. My classes aren’t long and are spaced out throughout the day so I have free time in between classes. I work 4 days a week, usually for 3 hour shifts during the week I have one pet in my home and it’s my border collie Bailey. About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I’ve also lived with roommates who had their own pets and have plenty of experience caring for other peoples animals. -I use to work/volunteer at an animal shelter when I was in college for a year so I have a experience working one on one and with groups of animals -Friends and family always remark on how well I get along with animals and how much I absolutely love them more than humans -I am very cooperative/receptive with your pets needs and your wishes! About: Hi! I've taken care of animals for about 40 years. I had horses growing up, then my kids got into 4h and I've help raise chicken, turkeys, pigs, and dairy feeders. I've also had numerous big dogs that have lived to be anywhere from 10 to 14 years. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I can remember. We had cats growing up and they were the light of my life. Every day I looked forward to coming home and knowing they would be there waiting for me to give them all the love. Starting in high school is when I began to get familiar with dogs as well. Neighbors, friends, and family have all taught me so much and then began relying on me to love and care for their fur babies. Which included anywhere from walking, feeding, grooming, and overall well-being. I've done quite a bit of house sitting recently and have no problem with cleaning when needed as well. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.
