“Sierra was wonderful. She sent regular updates, asked questions when she was unsure, and left our home as clean as we left it. Sierra even picked up a large outdoor plant that was knocked over during severe wind. I have already booked her for another pet sitting job next month and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Mika is a reactive dog around strangers, and this was her very first time staying alone without me — so it wasn’t an easy situation. The first few hours were tough, but Sky, with so much patience, love, and sensitivity, managed to earn Mika’s trust and affection on the very first day. It was truly amazing. 🤩 On top of that, Sky gave me so much peace of mind by sending frequent updates and photos of Mika, which really helped ease my anxiety. ADEMÁS que habla español, mi idioma nativo, así que no pude estar más cómoda en nuestra comunicación. Sky —a name that couldn’t be more fitting— is a kind, respectful, communicative, and very responsible young woman. I would trust her with Mika again a thousand times over. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Sky! 💖”

“Anden was such a fantastic house/dog/cat sitter. We highly recommend her. It’s always nerve-wracking leaving our floofs and home with a new sitter; and Anden set our worries to rest. She was highly communicative, sent regular pics and videos of floof cuteness to reassure us that everyone was doing well, and we arrived home to a clean house and happy, calm pets. Moreover, Anden gracefully handled several unexpected situations that arose. The first night we were gone, a storm took down several trees in our very long driveway- Anden immediately informed us and reassured us that she, her car, the pets, and our house were okay until we were able to get someone to clear the drive the next day. Then when we were delayed overnight on our journey home, Anden was flexible and agreed to stay an extra day to make sure the floofs were ok. We won’t hesitate to contact her again!”

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

“Christine took care of our home and 2 dogs like they were her own! My babies are slow to warm up to new people and very protective of their people and spaces. By the time of our 2nd meet and greet they took to her like she was a part of the family. I had a wonderful long weekend trip not having to worry about my home or pups! Christine was good with both my rescues, one requiring seizure management and the other that sometimes struggles with anxiety. Thanks so much, Christine! My pups miss you already. They prance around proudly with the balls you brought them, eager to play!”
