“Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! She will be my number 1 go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my cats in the future!”

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

About: i have been a pet sitter for friends and family for many years. I have owned several dogs and cats, and I currently have four kitties as my sweet dog passed away a few years ago. I also care for/feed five feral/community cats that I worked with Humane FW to trap, spay/neuter and vaccinate, and I supply them with heated cat houses. I have experience with elderly animals as well as special needs animals with food restrictions and allergies. I currently work part-time from home and make my own hours, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! My schedule is so flexible that I am available for drop-in visits, walks, playtime or overnight stays most days of the week. I have almost 30 years of experience in management, and I will care for your home and pets as if they are mine. I love to play with animals and walk dogs, and I also enjoy caring for them. About: I have been caring for the pets of my friends and family for over 5 years, and worked for a pet boarding facility for over a year. I’m a college student studying to be a veterinarian who wants to gain more experience working with pets. I have also completed the dog handler academy online training course for my last job! I am currently a college student who is able to take the time between and after my classes to care for pets. This also leaves my weekends completely open to focus on pet care! As someone who has worked for a boarding facility, i’ve done all kinds of pet care for all kinds of pets. I am available and experienced in anything from feeding and walking to bathing and cleaning up pet messes!

About: I have been surrounded by and caring for animals since I was young. My mom could never turn away a stray or any animal in need, and because of her, a deep love for animals was planted in my own heart. I have years experience socializing and walking dogs within my volunteer work at animal shelters. In addition, I have two years of experience working within veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant. I grew up with Siberian Huskies, so I am used to and comfortable with high energy and large breeds :) I recently graduated from college, and I am working part-time on the weekends before I apply to veterinary school. Right now, I am available weekdays and weeknights. As my schedule changes, I will update, but I am very flexible :) I am very cautious when it comes to animals and their care. I make sure to intently listen and learn the needs of each animal in order to maintain their routine while also providing enrichment in their environment. I also am a very strong communicator, and will make sure to clearly communicate with owners.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I have had dogs my entire childhood. Once I was able to, I got my own dog & she is my baby! We had a bad experience with a sitter & now I am determined to give other dogs the best, most loving, “home away from home” experience I possibly can. I work full time (8-4) M-F but am able to leave work to let your furbaby go potty if needed! I live in the perfect neighborhood for walks & squirrel chasing! My pup is my whole world & I strive to make every dog I watch feel just as loved as my own. Multiple walks a day, plenty of toys, and lots of snacks(if their diet allows)!
