About: I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone else. Whether you're traveling for work, taking a vacation, or simply need help during a busy week, you're trusting someone to care for a member of your family. I understand that responsibility, and I never take it for granted. I specialize in House Sitting, Pet Boarding, and Dog Walking, providing personalized care that's tailored to each pet's unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, a curious kitten, or a senior companion who enjoys a slower pace, I take the time to understand what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and secure. I welcome pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages, including cats. From playful puppies to senior pets and those with special needs, I tailor my care to meet each pet's individual personality and routine. I also have extensive experience administering oral medications and carefully following detailed care instructions, so you can feel confident your pet's health and well-being are always my priority. I don't see pets as another booking on my calendar. I see them as family members who deserve patience, kindness, attention, and genuine affection. Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood while their family is away. My goal isn't simply to care for your pet. It's to earn your trust and become someone you can rely on whenever you need dependable, compassionate pet care. Because I work from home and have a flexible schedule, pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Your pet will receive plenty of companionship, supervision, and love throughout the day and won't be left alone for long periods. My flexible schedule allows me to provide regular potty breaks, meals, medications, walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention based on your pet's normal routine. I know consistency helps pets feel secure, so I do everything I can to make their day feel familiar, comfortable, and stress-free. Communication is just as important to me as the care I provide. When you book with me, you can expect: • Daily updates so you always know how your pet is doing. • Plenty of photos and videos so you can enjoy the little moments you'll miss. • Prompt, reliable communication whenever you have questions. • Honest updates about meals, walks, playtime, naps, medications, and your pet's overall well-being. My goal is for you to relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving the same love and attention they're accustomed to at home. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is always the same: creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. My home is designed with pets in mind. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore, along with several nearby parks and scenic walking trails that are perfect for daily walks, exercise, and outdoor adventures. Whether your pet enjoys an energetic game of fetch, exploring new scents, or a leisurely stroll, I'll make sure they get the activity, enrichment, and one-on-one attention they need. During every visit or stay, your pet receives much more than the basics. They'll enjoy companionship, playtime, enrichment, exercise, affection, and plenty of individualized attention. Whether they love chasing a ball, exploring the neighborhood, curling up on the couch, or simply relaxing beside someone they trust, I'll make sure their days are filled with comfort, fun, and genuine care. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll carefully follow their established routine, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, favorite activities, bedtime routines, and any special instructions you provide. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care that I give your pet. Above all, I want every pet to feel loved, every home to be respected, and every pet owner to feel confident they made the right choice. I'd love to schedule a Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, answer any questions you may have, and make sure we're the perfect fit. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming your furry family member with the love, care, and attention they deserve.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life, and even worked for a vet for almost 2 years at one point. I love dogs and cats but have experience with birds too. I work full time from home, and my schedule is fairly open. I look forward to helping with your pets. We do have kids and pets of our own. Everyone is friendly and ready to make new friends. I have a fenced yard, and live in a great safe neighborhood with 2 parks within walking distance. Great references upon request. I look forward to meeting you.
“We’ve booked Grisel several times and will continue to rebook! She has gone above and beyond to provide exemplary care for my Otter boy (lending him a doggy sweater when it’s cold outside and successfully flushing his eyes with his eye wash during allergy flare-ups). I can rest easy knowing that he is in her care.”

About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life, and I am a very attentive and patient care giver. Any pet staying with me will get lots of attention and love. I will ensure timely feedings, plenty of fresh water, and lots of safety and love. I am a stay at home mom, and my oldest is in full time kindergarten, so I’ll have lots of time to care for your pet, 7 days a week. I have a recently remodeled fenced in back yard, that backs up to a beautiful, shaded nature walk on the edge of a wetlands nature preserve. Any walks we go on will have plenty of safe exploring for your pet. I have two male siamese cats of my own at home who are generally pretty tolerant of other animals. I also have two young children, ages 5 and 3 so as long as your pets are comfortable and good around kids we would love to love on your fur babies!
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've cared for my own dogs as well as those belonging to friends, family members, and rescue organizations. I am currently volunteering as a transport driver for NorCal Boxer Rescue and Gettin' Home Transport, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. From energetic puppies to gentle giants like St. Bernards, I've worked with a wide variety of dogs and understand that each one has unique needs, routines, and temperaments. My goal is always to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while they're in my care. I am retired after 42 years with the federal government. I spend most of my time at home with my retired husband, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Aside from occasional errands, I’m available to ensure your dog(s) receives consistent care and affection. Our home is designed with dogs' comfort in mind. We have a large, grassy, fully fenced backyard and a dog door that allows dogs to come and go freely at their own pace. In addition, I regularly take dogs outside for potty breaks throughout their stay. Dogs are treated like family here and are welcome on the furniture and beds. We provide pet stairs to help them safely access couches and beds, making them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Daily walks are offered during the cooler parts of the day, typically in the early morning and again in the late afternoon or evening. Providing a safe, secure, and loving environment is my top priority. Our large, fenced backyard offers plenty of space for exercise, play, and relaxation. We also share our home with two friendly, long-haired, five-year-old Dachshunds who enjoy the company of visiting dogs. We strive to maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can settle in comfortably and enjoy their stay. We provide extra dog beds for guests, and if your dog prefers or requires a crate, you're welcome to bring your own. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddling on the couch, relaxing in the yard, or simply being around caring people, they'll receive personalized attention and plenty of love while you're away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,335 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Catlett. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Catlett commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,335 sitters in Catlett, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
