About: I have had my own dogs for as long as I can remember. When I moved out I started helping the strays in the neighborhood. I do work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. However I can always stay with the animal and walk them in mornings or evenings. I am pretty flexible on weekends. I am able to keep the dogs well groomed, well fed, as well as walking them and playing with them too. I can stay at the hosts house.

About: I've taken care cats, dogs, and guinea pigs since I was a little kid. My family was super adventurous and we took our dogs everywhere with us. Growing up we fostered cats and dogs of all breeds and ages. I am a professional cross-country skier so I am very active during the day. I can go on many walks or runs with your dog if needed. I will be out for two hours in the morning and then free until the afternoon. Our cats are indoor cats because of our busy street. However, growing up we would let our cats out for however long they wanted and then let them in. We had a revolving door so when we were home they were allowed to go out. I will try to make you feel as comfortable and safe as possible when watching your pet.

I like to start with an introduction at your house, where I can meet both you and your dog in their familiar environment. This helps establish a sense of trust and comfort. During this visit, I also familiarize myself with the location of your dog’s items and routines, ensuring that I can provide the best and most attentive care. My goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible for your pet.

About: I have taken care of animals, whether they are my own or my neighbors since I was a child. I have fed, walked, bathed, given medications to, and played with most types of animals. I just moved to the area, so I currently have all the time in the world to hang out with your fur-babies. I have two cats of my own and I love to play with them, but I love meeting new animals and making friends. My cats have free roam of the house, and they are very well behaved. They are allowed outside with a harness on, and they love to explore. When taking care of animals in a home that is not my own, I typically ask what the owner prefers to do, and that will be my default for the time period I am caring for that animal.

While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’ve been caring for animals since childhood—dogs, cats, and more. With 40+ years of experience, I offer walking, drop-ins, overnight care, and medication support. I specialize in calm, loving attention tailored to each animal’s needs, whether playful, shy, senior, or energetic. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. A note about my partner: I often house sit with my partner, Martin, who is a fellow animal lover and is also on Rover. He is kind, quiet, and respectful of others’ space. When he joins me, it’s simply as a supportive presence and never changes the rate or quality of care your pets receive. I always check first to make sure this is okay with you. Please note that for Winter in Sun Valley, Martin will only be joining me if it is on his day off. I can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, or overnights—especially during weekdays and early mornings or evenings. As I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love building pet care into my daily rhythm and treat each visit as a grounding, joyful part of my routine. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safe and relaxed. My animals always did better at home with a great pet sitter.
