About: I have taken care of my household dogs for over 20 years now. I joined the military in 2016 as a dog trainer and instantly fell in love with the profession. When I separated from the military in 2022, I continued to board pets as well as train dogs for private companies as well as for my business. This is my full time job, so it is not about how your pet fits into my schedule because my schedule revolves around your pets! I live in a 3 level home where I have one level dedicated to boarding and training. So it’s plenty of space to run around inside, or outside on my 1.3 acre lot. I will provide continuous updates and transparent communication.

I grew up with Labrador Retrievers, so I’m comfortable with larger breeds, energetic personalities, and dogs who love a good walk and plenty of attention. I also had my own Shih Tzu for eight wonderful years, from my college days into early adulthood, and had the privilege of caring for her through her senior years — including when she lost her vision. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting care to each pet’s unique needs. Today, our home is filled with love from our cat and busy toddler, and while we’re not quite ready to add another dog to our family mix just yet, I’m definitely missing my dog time! About: I love dogs and what they bring to our life! Your pup will hang out with a friendly and energetic 5-year old Golden Retriever, his name is Tango and he is great with other dogs! We have a large fenced in yard and we spend lots of time playing ball and chasing squirrels. I work from home and have plenty of time to take care of your pup. I only host one family at a time to make sure I give plenty of attention. I live in a neighborhood with lots of pet friendly walking areas. I have a large fenced in yard and pups are welcome in all living spaces at the house. They are allowed in beds and couches. If your pup is used to sleep in a crate, please bring it with you! For the safety of Tango and other dogs I do require a copy of vaccine records as well as flea, tick and heartworm preventive all being up-to-date.

About: I have spent my entire adult life with dogs & love them dearly. My 2 dogs love to play with other dogs as well as each other. I also have an older blind toy poodle who doesn’t play with other animals but is perfectly content staying on my sofa & listening to whatever is going on in the house. Therefore, I’m quite accustomed to care for special needs dogs. All dogs seem to communicate very well with me. I also keep the owners up to date daily with pictures and/or videos as to how much fun their dogs are having. I am a retired stay at home widow who loves spending time with dogs. I can devote most my time having dogs in my home to love and care for. Typically, we use some of the afternoon for calming & resting time if/when needed. This is also the time for specific needs & brushing. The doggies can go outside anytime they want to play or do their business. I have a large fenced in back yard specifically for the care & safety of my dogs and the dogs I am caring for in my home. This is a very safe place for the fur babies to spend supervised time in the shade or sun with a large covered veranda with fresh water available at all times. I live on many acres of farm land with very few neighbors. We have no children living near us at all.

About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: I have experience walking and caring for dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, including feeding, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and exercise. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing outside, or just needs company and care, I’m happy to help. I’m available on weekdays (Monday–Friday) from early morning until late afternoon, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to work some weekends 10am-3pm Saturdays and Sundays. I work 10 minutes away from my home. I have a set time to take my puppy out as he is still going through potty training My apartment is pretty open for the fur babies to room around and I have a small fur baby of my own that can play with! There is a big area of grass around my complex where they can go potty and play and a dog park right up the street.
