“Erin was perfect! She gave us updates regularly and was the best house guest, the house was in better condition than it was when we left. She was flexible on the cost too because we have a ridiculous amount of fur babies which we really appreciated. She even brought in mail without being asked!! We will definitely be asking her to care for our pets again!!”

“This was the second time Gloria stayed at our house. I felt our beloved cat, BJ, was in excellent hands with Gloria. When we returned, the house was just as we left it, litter boxes scooped, and BJ was relaxed, fed, and happy (the most important thing)! It was as though we had never left! We felt bad because, while we were gone, our TV died and our air conditioning wasn't working, but Gloria took it in stride. We and BJ hope Gloria will house/cat-sit again for us in the future (TV and heat pump have both been replaced!). Thank you, Gloria.”

“If You are looking for someone who knows and cares this is her. Kathryn not only understands canine behavior from a broad perspective she takes the time to make that one on one connection with your dog, I would rate Kathryn's services at 6 Stars on a 1-5 scale. She truly is above and beyond!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I helped take care of my senior family dog. I later trained the puppy my family got. I have always loved spending time with animals. I’m a college student with classes a couple days a week around noon, so I’m usually available before or after those times. I’m flexible and reliable, and pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I care for all animals with the same care as if they were mine. I follow each pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any medical or behavioral needs provided by the owner. My goal is always to create a safe, familiar, and loving environment where pets feel relaxed and well cared for.
About: I have always been an animal lover! I have owned many animals through my life. I do have cats and 2 small dogs. I do work during the day as a Medical Assistant from 7:30-6 but I do come home on my lunch to let your dog out! Weekends I have off. Please let me know if there is any other questions you might have for me! I am open to a meet and greet prior to you allowing your dog to stay here! All of our guests will be loved and treated as family! We want to make their stay as comfortable as possible <3 Potty breaks in the morning and breakfast. Potty break at lunch time and lunch is fed. Then evening I’m home and feed dinner around 6:30 My yard is fully fenced. I don’t allow pets to run freely unsupervised. I also require owners to bring their own kennels for boarding as this helps the dog have a familiar item they can sleep in.
“We couldn't have been more pleased with the care that Sierrah provided to our special kitty. She sent us great photos while we were away which gave us comfort knowing that he was being well taken care of. Sierrah also took great care of our house and made sure everything was tidy when she left. We highly recommend her.”

“Kris did a wonderful job dogsitting my 2 corgis and was very respectful of my house. This was a last minute reservation and he was prompt in responding and scheduling a greet in time of the reservation. I would recommend him and will schedule again.”

“Leah was so wonderful to our dogs! She played with them and loved them like they were her own. We got pictures of the dogs throughout their sitting and it was comforting to see them relaxed and enjoying themselves. Leah is great at communicating and flexible with us when we needed her to be there for the dogs. Thanks for everything Leah!”

About: I am a timely person that cares about animals. Love hanging out with dogs and taking them for walks. I always make sure the food and water are stocked accordingly. Please read it all: I work a 40 hr job but don’t do much in the evenings when I’m not working on school work. I genuinely love dogs, just between my busy schedule I don’t have time to care for one myself. I WORK 40HR WORK WEEK, I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO DOG SIT/ DOG WALK BEFORE AND AFTER. I like to make sure the dogs are well taken care of and maybe a little spoiled. Going for walks, getting all the pets they need and as well making sure their safety is number 1.
About: What sets me apart is reliability and trust. I’m a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Families have trusted me to stay in their homes while sitting because I treat every pet — and their space — with the same love and respect as my own. Pet care naturally fits into my daily life because I already care for my own dogs and reptiles every day. Walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddle breaks are part of my normal routine, so adding your pets into my schedule is easy and enjoyable. I plan my days around making sure pets are happy, safe, and cared for — whether it’s daily drop-ins or extended stays I have pets of my own, so I am unable to board pets in my home. I am happy to make multiple trips a day to check on your pet, and am also available to do an extended stay at your home.
“Veronica took very good care of my two cats. I loved that she sent pictures of them every day. The litter boxes were clean and she kept the floor around them swept and clean. I will definitely continue to ask her to care for my babies.”

“Jenny took such great care of our fur babies while we were away! She was very communicative, obviously caring and sent lots of videos while she was here. Will definitely be using her again ? thanks Jenny!”

“Fabricia did an awesome job watching my cat and dog on very short notice over the Christmas holidays. They both warmed up to her fast and she put my mind at ease with consistent updates, pictures and videos.”

About: I am an experienced caregiver of pets. In my family is Otis the dog, cats Earl and Sarah, a Galah Cockatoo named Warren and Henry and Marty McFly the budgies. Otis gets along with both dogs and cats and loves to have a buddy to romp with in the yard. I have met some of the most wonderful caregivers here on Rover who helped when I’ve needed to go out of town and would love to help other pet parents when they need to be away for a time. I will provide photos and keep you updated for your peace of mind. I work part-time night shift. My schedule varies but I have lots of availability for feathered and furry friends. Please feel free to check with me about your pet care needs. I have a fenced yard and can provide supervised outdoor playtime or cuddling on the couch. Our dog Otis loves company and to have playmates visit. He gets along really well with other dogs and with cats.

Castle Rock pet parents share their Rover experiences
Erin sat for an entire week, for what she called a “stay-cation” at our home, with our dear Sheltie. While we were away, Erin was very responsive to our inquiries, sending pictures and reporting no problems. When we returned home everything was fine and we are very pleased. Thank you Erin for giving us a week of your time and especially for protecting our beloved dog! ❤️

Erin is amazing! Our dog Stoney and 2 goats love her. When we had another sitter cancel on us last minute, Erin was available and jumped right into learning the ropes of our home and animals. Our dog gets so excited to see her when she comes over. I also really appreciate the open communication and pictures sent daily. She has given us a sense of relief knowing our pets are in good hands. She also always leave the house clean!
