About: I have more than 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and needs. I raised my two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Cane Corso, from puppyhood through their senior years. They were part of my family for 14 and 11 years, so I have firsthand experience with every stage of a dog's life, from energetic puppies and adult dogs to seniors who need extra patience and attention. My experience with dogs actually began much earlier. Growing up, my family had a female French Poodle and a female Labrador, which also gave me experience caring for female dogs, including during their heat cycles. While completing my master's and Ph.D. in Tallahassee, I pet sat for families with dogs of different sizes and breeds, sometimes caring for two dogs in the same household.
