“Melissa is a true saint! My family was on a 2.5 week road trip with our 11 month old Akita puppy, Frida, when we decided to make a stop a the Great Blue Heron festival in Sherman, NY. Being on the road and leaving our puppy with a stranger seemed intimidating, especially considering her shy nature, but Melissa was great! Frida was very reserved with Melissa at first, but eventually warmed up. Melissa sent pictures and videos that showed she was having a great time. She went above and beyond to make sure Frida had access to activities that she enjoyed and even set up play dates with other young dogs. I am so so grateful we found Melissa and we were able to leave our pup with someone who put so much love and care into her time with Frida.”

About: I have had dogs all my life and spent over 20 years as a Pet Groomer both in a shop and mobile. I have had continued education in cat grooming, dog grooming, skin care, etc. I specialized in senior and anxiety dogs. I have had upward of 9 dogs at one time and they did not all get along. I have also owned a diabetic dog. I also have a Reiki background. Currently I am retired from pet grooming and I own another business that is seasonal therefore my schedule is pretty flexible and my availability is pretty open too. I have a small fenced yard in a low traffic community that is good for walks too. I am familiar with crate training and can accommodate that if needed. I also have gates if access needs to be limited to parts of my house. Example, I do have stairs and can block them if pet is unable to do stairs.

About: Hi, I am a Mother to two children who reside with me. We currently have an XL bully who will be one year on May 13th. He his a 2 time graduate of puppy obedience training. We also have two very loving cats. I also help care for my sister’s two large dogs when she is at work throughout the week. I am comfortable with all types of pets including puppies and large breed dogs. I am available every day, except on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I also am OK with the same day job proposals. My dog is crate trained as well as being able to be free only in our large kitchen. He is supervised in the rest of the house because he is still a puppy. If we were to care for your pet in our home, your pet would be taken care of in a different area than the dog for all pets safety and comfort.

About: I used to dog sit for friends and family. I fed them, I walked them, I bathed them, and I especially love just hanging around and playing with them! I currently work 6 AM to 3 PM Thursday through Monday and half off Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Thursdays through Mondays I’m available after 330 Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I’m available all day. I do ask the owners on preferences about anything and everything whether that being a schedule for eating or walking or anything like that, but I would definitely take care of your baby like if it was my own!

I have a 2 yr old mixed breed that has a high energy level and wants to play a lot , so your dog would be a good fit if your dog likes to run and romp and wrestle with another dog at least some of the time.I have watched friends and family members dogs as well as a few others when they are working or go on vacation. Your dog would be super safe in our completely fenced in back yard and be taken care of like my own. Having a meet and greet meeting a few days prior to booking is required. I work as a fitness instructor, classes are only an hour long so the fur babies won't be lonely for too long. I love having a routine and sticking to it. About: My whole life I was never able to have pets up until two years ago which is when I got my first girl, Jojo. She changed my life completely and so I had to get her a sister. My love for them is unmatched and even though I don’t have training what I do have is unconditional love and plenty of free time. I recently resigned from my job so I do not have a work schedule to work around so I am able to give my pets as well as yours all the attention and care that they need. I do have a fenced yard so if they need to go outside for potty or play there is no risk of them running off. I also two dogs at home as previously mentioned but I do have a dog gate inside if your pet needs some alone time. I separate my dogs during meal times and sometimes just to give individual attention. Both my dogs are girls and they are sweet and very playful.
