“Karen took great care of our boy- very communicative and patient with his minor separation anxiety- if we find ourselves back in town we’ll be happy to work with her again!”

“Roxy always enjoys going to see Emily and her fur baby. She is always so great with her and she even gave her a rinse off! I always feel confident leaving my pup with her. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!”

“Diane and Dale went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule and care for Oliver. He fit right in with their dog, Lexi, enjoyed the walks around the pond and was well-loved. I highly recommend them!”

“Gilian was super flexible with drop off and pickup. We loved getting daily updates that included pictures and details about her activity and food/water intake. Gilian definitely made us feel so relieved during our time away because we knew she was in good hands and being cared for in a comfortable home, surrounded by other doggy playmates. Thanks, Gilian!”

“Judy is always responsive when we check in! She sends a ton of photos showing how much fun Raider is having; and quickly lets us know when something negative happens. We will use her again and again!”

“Cathy & Matilda did a great job taking care of Jake. He enjoyed playing with the other dogs & enjoyed the special attention they gave him. It was so nice to receive pictures & updates from Cathy during the week. We will definitely ask Cathy & Matilda to sit for Jake again.”

“Our pup had a great stay with Rebecca and Matthew! I was really looking for a home with a family that would interact with her regularly, meet her high energy needs and be able to have her in a calm, family environment ~ they were excellent in providing our pup with everything we were hoping for, and they truly went above and beyond! We are so pleased with her stay; with it being our first Rover experience, we were very relieved with the overall experience, and highly recommend Rebecca and her family.”

“This was my first time using Rover. I was pleased to find an experienced host close to my home. Salena was good about confirming our logistics and sent a couple of updates during the stay. My dog seemed to enjoy his time with her and her pets. I will look for her again, the next time I need to travel.”

“Josh and Cheryl were absolutely incredible with our dog, Tuck. He’s a high-energy, challenging pup who needs a lot of stimulation, and they went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for, engaged, and happy. They were attentive, active, and cared for him like their own. When his collar broke, they even bought him a new one without hesitation—such a thoughtful gesture that speaks to how much they truly care. We also loved receiving regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t recommend them more highly—if we could give more than 5 stars, we would!”

“Shannon is great. She sends regular updates with pics and videos. She has a great backyard and built in dog friend for our Clyde to play with. We always feel confident our dog is in good hands and having a good vacation too when we book with Shannon.”

“My dogs stayed with Emma for one night while we were in town for a wedding. We were coming from out of town and had to change our arrival time more than once. Emma was very particular with us! 😀”
“Frankie was amazing with Colt, he settled in nicely and enjoyed his stay there! Updates were provided on how he was doing and were quick to respond when I checked in.”

“Mary does a great job caring for our dog, Baxter. Bax does not like every dog he meets, cannot be with cats, and cannot be with small kids. Mary's house is perfect for him. Mary sends us many pictures of Bax when we are away. She takes care of Bax like he is her own dog. Bax has a pill that he takes everyday, and Mary makes sure that he gets it. She is very flexible with drop off/pick up times too. Baxter is going to stay at Mary's house often!”
“Had consistent updates and felt very comfortable leaving Furb with Hannah & Braxton B while we were on vacation. Furb said it went super well and already misses his new friends.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 10 years old and have not gone without mans best friend since! I currently live on 23 acres in the country and long walks and chasing balls packs in most of the day with my 4 dogs Jetta, Odie, Ruby and Rowley. All dogs are dog friendly and well mannered. Graduating puppy classes to canine good citizen classes, plus dabbling in agility and herding. I currently work Weekends Friday-Sunday and my week is filled with lots of outdoor time on my hobbies farm. Lots of free time during the week helps me have fun with my animals and enjoy the sunshine. All my pets are cat and dog friendly and have full freedom of the property. New comers are always on a 12 foot leash during playtime and walks, unless E-collar trained. When first meeting owners I go over your dogs recall manners and slowly introduce them to the pack on a long property walk. This helps incorporate pack leadership and expelling energy at the same time.
“Laura boarded Wiley for a weekend. Wiley was well taken care of and enjoyed her Yard. Wiley often has anxiety when we are gone but adapted to Laura and family nicely. He was a happy boy when we picked him up. Laura sent photos and communicated how Wiley was adapting. All went perfectly. I highly recommend Laura to watch your dog.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
