About: Hi, I’m Paula! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’m a complete softie for pets, and I do everything in my power to make sure every dog or cat in my care feels safe, loved, and genuinely happy. At home, my family includes two American Bullies and one cat, so I’m very comfortable with multi‑pet households and all the energy, personality, and joy that comes with them. “Penny spent a week with Lindsey and her pack and she seemed to be very happy and content with her stay. Lindsey provided updates every morning and evening, letting me know that Penny had eaten her food and what she had done for the day. She also included pictures in which I could tell Penny was having fun. During her visit it was July 4 and Penny is extremely scared of fireworks. Lindsey made a safe space for Penny and checked on her consistently. I feel that Penny was in good hands with Lindsey and her family. I would not hesitate to leave Penny with Lindsay again!”

Because I was rushing and didn’t know much about the pups, I didn’t realize (or think to ask) that one of them might be in heat. Olivia typically doesn’t accept pups in heat, but given the emergency situation, she graciously worked with us anyway. She even provided pick-up and drop-off, which was a huge help. When she brought them back, it was clear the pups really liked her, and that told me everything. They were well cared for and comfortable with her. I also work at Camp Bow Wow and have a lot of experience with animals. I am on South Alabama’s campus with classes every morning but on the days I don’t have work I’m free to help you along with open weekends! I also live 20 minutes away from home so I’m not far. And I am always willing to negotiate! I help with the need of potty breaks and food and water for the benefit of each pet. I am always paying attention to the actions and behaviors!!

Since I work from home, I’m available throughout the day to care for your dog. Each day, I ensure your pet gets regular walks, playtime, and cuddles, along with any specific care they need. My Shih Poo, who is very social, helps make every dog feel at home and welcome. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where your pet can feel relaxed and comfortable. We live in a non-smoking home with a fenced in yard.

About: I grew up with dogs. Currently I have a four year old Husky who has turned me into an excellent dog walker. Because he is so high energy, I am familiar with having to keep an energetic dog entertained. My dog keeps me pretty active. Since he is a working-dog breed, I stay active either walking/jogging with him, or checking out the local dog parks. I am happy to go on walks with any dog. Unfortunately my yard is not fenced in, by my house is puppy proof and there is plenty of room to play.
