“We really appreciated having Jeanette watch our cat while we were away. It was so nice having the peace of mind that he would be well cared for and we loved the pictures and updates she sent. Would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy sitter who is great with animals.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. No matter the setting, I focus on creating a safe, stress-free, and enriching experience for pets—so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands.

“Athena is the best pet sitter ever! We never worry about anything when we are traveling and she is in charge. Our kitty looks for her after we come home, as they have developed a wonderful bond. Athena's attention to all details is beyond compare. Thank you Athena for choosing this profession!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, two dogs and 4 cats over my lifetime. Both outdoor indoor pets and I am very active with them. Pets need love and support from us as much as we need it from them. I spent three years volunteering at the Oregon zoo working with animals. I am flexible and creative, easily adapting to pet's needs. I am also patient and calm with them. I have loved animals since I was a kid. I refused to hit a piñata at a party because it was animal shaped. I will love your pets as if they are my own. I am always happiest when I am around pets. I work from home on a salaried basis, so my schedule is flexible. Especially from early morning until 3pm. I can do quick drop ins and/or long stays if they need a little interaction. I pay attention to location of plants, making sure they are out of reach and not a hazard to pets. I make sure all toys left out are safe, not too small to chock on. Making sure toys don't have anything to tangle up with. I'll watch to make sure pets don't eat too fast and get sick.

“10/10! Allie was everything we wanted and more! Our pups warmed right up and really enjoyed her company. Very thorough with details and easy communication. We will definitely schedule with her again in the future when needed. Highly Recommend!!”

“During 2 meet & greet sessions, Jennifer and Brian were very attentive and receptive to my dogs' care details. They have spent time with my extremely rambunctious Golden Retriever (and his well-behaved older brother) and handled him with grace. I look forward to a 2-week vacation soon knowing that my fur babies are in good hands. Thank you Jennifer & Brian!”

“Shelly is AMAZING! Truly one of the BEST! We are so lucky we found her to care for our dogs. She was so kind, patient, and very understanding of each of our dogs personalities. We look forward to having her care for our dogs in the future!”

“Christina did a great job with my cats. She was responsible, on time, and got cute pictures of them, even though they hide a lot. I hired her during a stressful time, and she was compassionate and friendly to me and my family.”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong love for dog and 25+ years of hand-on care. I have experience with senior small dogs and know how to make pups feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m housewife who stay home and enjoys working in the garden, so I have plenty of time to care for dogs throughout the day. I’m available for boarding everyday. Your dog will have lot of attention, love, and a peaceful home environment while staying with me. I have a big, fence backyard where dogs can safely run and play. I make sure they get lots of attention, fresh water, and cuddles time. Inside, they’ll have a cozy, clean space to relax and feel like home.

About: Since I could open my eyes, there has been a dog in front of them. Growing up, my family bred and raised AKC yellow labs. I also worked for a horse/dog breeder, helping take care and market Aussie puppies. I also have experience with senior dogs. My senior lab lost all function in his hind end towards the end of his life and I was his primary care giver. Senior care was the hardest and most fulfilling job I’ve had. I am currently in school to become a veterinary technician and I have been working in a clinic setting for almost a year now. I am taking a break from the clinic to focus on school and enjoy my summer. Send your furry friends my way!❤️🐾 I’m doing some other little side jobs but I am free otherwise. I have school that I need to attend to daily. I was working at a veterinary clinic but I am now taking a break to focus on school and enjoy the summer. I am also offering nail trims for an extra charge ;) I have two dogs at my house that are not friendly to other dogs. This means that I will be strictly keeping dogs at owners houses, streets, towns, etc. and there will be no chance of interaction between my dogs and any other dogs ☺️

About: All animals are welcome. Medical experience with animals and will follow directions to the letter. Have worked and cared for a large variety and size of animals my entire life. Consistency is key. Animals love routine and waking up, being fed and walking all at certain times. So much so they expect it. I'm here to make sure they get it. Safety is following the instructions set for you by the people who know the animal. I realize each animal is different and requires different handling in any given scenario.

About: Have experience training a high energy pup. Have the patience and will to want to train puppies. Love finding out the best way to engage and motivate a dog. Willing to work with puppies in crate and potty training. They will not only have their needs met but I'll make sure that they are content!!

“Schellene was reliable and has an understanding of cats, especially our shy kitty. She sent us photos and notes to keep us informed of our cat's progress. I highly recommend her and will be using her again!”

About: I have had cats & dogs my whole life! Raised puppies & kittens, treated illnesses, managed health issues, cared for seniors with meds, etc. I can happily do what they need! After having my Chorkie for 16 beautiful years, I understand how important it is to keep their med schedule or to read their body language & behavior to anticipate any potential changes. Providing a safe & accommodating environment is my goal for any care that I provide. I work at home and I have plenty of help to give! Homeschooling means there's a fun and experienced kid to keep them busy daily! We have about an acre to roam & no other pets right now. So there is a lot of space & attention to be had. If I care for them in your home, I will be happy to maintain the home as it was as I found it & help with any related tasks that would apply. Bring any questions or concerns to me in the consult or leave a note!

I have trusted David to be in my house to care for my cats feeding and litter box cleaning while my wife and I are out of town. He even goes so far as to spend time socializing and playing with them during his daily visits.
