“Leaving a fearful, reactive Blue Heeler is incredibly stressful- Sydney handled everything flawlessly while house-sitting; during my absence, there happened to be tree trimming which required parking spots to be vacated, chimney inspections, and exterior repairs during hot weather (of course it just HAD to occur during the ONE period I wouldn't be home). She handled everything flawlessly including understanding my dog's triggers, respecting their boundaries during nervous moments, and took the time to build trust safely. Your four-legged family will be in good hands with me! I’m self-employed, so my availability is flexible. I can accommodate short notice, and I’m available for short-term or long-term sitting and walking. I can do overnights also! I can come sit at your home! (It’s unlikely that I would be able to bring animals to my home given my roommates and other pets.)
About: Caring for animals has always been a part of our livelihood. For over 30 years we have been blessed to take care of both dogs and cats young and old. We have also worked closely with a dog rescue organization and have fostered numerous pups. We have had experience with both puppies/kitties and senior dogs/cats as we have had many that have lived their golden years with us. We are comfortable with many medical needs. As we have five pets of our own, we have become easily accustomed to dog and cat schedules. We work both in and out of the home and are available to take care of pets at all times of the day while pet sitting at our house. Pet sitting outside of our home can easily be supported on evenings and weekends. We have greater flexibility during the summer for weekday support. Our dogs enjoy multiple walks throughout the day as well as potty breaks and play sessions. Our cats enjoy snuggling and playing. We love sleeping with pups, but if they enjoy having their own time while sleeping, we can easily accommodate.
