“Thank you for all you do for our sweet fur baby. Our fur baby is 11 yo has lymphoma Crystal has taken care of her for almost a year when we leave town. She is very dependable, has great communication, sends pics and a little note on the app about each visit. Crystal follows our directions we leave to the tea!!! Which we appreciate very much. I highly recommend Crystal to care for your fur babies.”

“Megan was so attentive to our pups while we were away on vacation. She kept us informed when one showed signs of an ear infection and even carried our packages in. She was responsive and spent lots of time loving on our pups! Already booking our next trip with her.”

“Donavon was able to help out with visiting Monte last minute. He gave a great update, and even cleaned up a mess of his 🤦🏻♀️ oh puppies. We will definitely use him again in the future. Thank you, Donavon!”

“We were very pleased with Shania’s drop in visit and excellent care for our two Australian Shepherds and our elder, blind Whoodle. Shania’s background in animal care, her timeliness, excellent communication skills and punctual follow through gave us worry free confidence for our time away. We enthusiastically recommend Shania for in-home pet sitting!”

“Aisha has watched our dogs before but it had been awhile. We were nervous about going on a 6 day vacation with someone watching the dogs, but Aisha gave us so much reassurance. Our dogs adored her! Recommend her to anyone”

“Mica was amazing with my 3 babies! She sent lots of photos and updates, stayed longer to ensure they all got some extra attention, and left the house spotless and picked up. I could tell my pups were happy and well cared for the entire time. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in such good hands—highly recommend Mica and will definitely book again!”

“It was such a wonderful feeling my family and I had, being able to leave on vacation knowing that our Queenie will be well took care of and loved on while we were gone. Paula arranged a Meet and Greet before we left. Queenie had a new friend from that moment on. The pictures and time Paula took with her was just so refreshing. We would love to continue to use her for Queenie in the future. I have told Ms Paula thank you over and over, but can't say it enough for being awesome.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 9. I have raised several dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I am very well versed in potty training, bathing, and responsible play. For many years I have bathed and walked dogs for my family and friends in addition to taking care of my own. I absolutely love animals and look forward to giving yours all the love and attention it needs! I am a stay at home mom whose kids are all in school now. So that means I have a lot of free time for your pets! I currently have a dog who does not like other dogs, so staying at my house is unfortunately not an option. I do however love getting to visit other pets and thoroughly enjoy taking long walks with them or having a play session with them.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
