First time boarding with Jill. She is great to work with. Luca and her bonded immediately. He loves her fenced yard and sitting on her lap. Soon, Luca will be spending ten days "vacationing" at Jill's. Thank you so much for sending updates and pictures of Luca's stay. He was tuckered out when we returned home.

Haylee was amazing!!!! We were in town for an unexpected family emergency and we needed a dog sitter. We weren't able to do a pre meet....but Haylee was gracious to accept us anyway. My dogs were well taken care of and happy when we arrived to pick them up. Due to the emergency I appreciated Haylee's flexibly on extending the stay for the dogs.

About: Hi! My name is Alec! I’m a 29 year old college grad from Gustavus Adolphus College where I majored in Biology and was president of my local fraternity. My hobbies and interests include cooking, skiing, reading, camping, and cleaning. I am originally from Wheaton, Minnesota, but moved to Oahu in September of 2021. I’m back in Alexandria for the summer and would love to babysit, walk, and spoil your wonderful pets to earn extra-cash and avoid missing my own kitty in Hawaii! I have experience with dogs and cats, and am comfortable with puppies and kittens, elderly and disabled pets, or animals with any special conditions. If you have any questions about me, feel free to reach out. I cant wait to meet you and your precious pets! I have a variable work schedule, so I can often fit visits in at random times. On days that I have off I would love to spend the day spoiling your furry friends. I will follow your instructions to the letter, and ensure the safety of your pet before beginning any activity. I would never take any risks with your precious pooches!

About: I have a huge passion for dogs! I grew with dogs and cats in my household since I have been a child. My parents always had a dog and cats in their household. Currently have I three dogs of my own. I have German Shepherd, English Springer Spaniel, and a Chihuahua/Rat terrier mixed that was rescued from California. I have rescued many dogs and cats to safe local shelters in the area. Then done plenty of babysitting dogs for family and friends! All I can say is I just love dogs! I’m huge cat lover as well! I have lots cat experience and I’m always rescuing cats to good homes as well! Rescued two cats as well! Love my kitties! I work part time currently and I do have time to take care of other pets in my situation. This is a passion of mine! Willing to work week days and weekends! I don’t have fenced in your yard at this time. Your pet will be leashed when taking potty breaks or walks outside. I do have crate provided for your pet when sitting. I prefer pet sitting your horse and dog walking in your area where your house is located.

About: I have never lived without a dog in my life, my family trains hunting dogs so I am very familiar with training and dog behaviors. I currently work two part time jobs, one more part time then the other but I'm available on weekends and wednesdays and weekdays after 3pm. I have one pup of my own who is very friendly and loves to make friends and a large unfenced yard, can crate if needed but the crate would need to be provided.

About: I have taken care of or been in a household with animals since I was a little girl. I grew up on a farm, and helped with animals in that area as well. I have been a dog sitter in the past for a family and it went really well! I love to be around animals, and even have two cats of my own and two family dogs. I am willing to provide in home boarding care at your place or mine and can accommodate to whatever makes you feel the most comfortable while you are away! I am currently studying for my boards, and plan to move to FL after the next few months, but within that time I am available any time/day of the week to care for your fur babies! I have the availability to crate your pet(s) if needed. I am currently living at home with my parents, which we have an outdoor and indoor space pets can go without being an issue. We do not have a fenced in yard, but we do live out in the country where your dog(s) can run safely or on a leash- to your preference. I am also able to come and care for your pet within your home as well if that makes you (and your pet) feel more comfortable!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
