About: I’m Amy - a huge animal lover and would be happy to care for your pet(s) as well as I care for my own! I understand how hard it is to leave your pets while traveling or vacationing, or even during the workday, which is why I started on Rover. I have a very open availability and am flexible for walks, drop-in visits, and house-sitting. I worked in a veterinary clinic for 2 years where I learned a lot about health and wellness of cats and dogs. I also have experience administering medication, handling special needs/health issues, and basic training. I promise to provide kind, loving, patient care for your pet, and open communication! About: I am a credentialed Veterinary Technician with a special interest in behavior and training. I have been in the veterinary field since 1991. I am no longer in a veterinary office but still do in-home behavior consulting as well as care for pets in my home. I do everything from potty training puppies to basic training for Service Dogs. I can administer medications, injections, and fluids prescribed by your veterinarian. In addition to working from home for Animal Behavior Network, I am a yoga and fitness instructor. I leave from 1-3 hours at a time Mon thru Thursday to drop off or pick up my son from school, to teach a morning class, or to drop in on a dog/cat/bird/rabbit, etc for routine care. I am gone Fridays for up to 4 hours in the morning because I teach back-to-back classes. My husband also works from home, so we have the flexibility to always have someone at home if your pet needs this. I try to stick to your schedule for feeding, walks, and bedtime. Your dog will have as much outdoor supervised playtime as they want, weather permitting. As a positive reward-based pet trainer, I find it hard to interact with pets without teaching them something new and fun while they stay with me. We do this through interactive game time. I prefer to feed through food puzzles which you will see in my photos, but I do have bowls if your pet prefers. I have a large fenced yard with a large section of field turf, toys, and a sandbox to keep your pet entertained when they go out to play. I have 3 well-behaved dogs who can be kept separate from your pets or with them. I have an upstairs and downstairs area where pets can be separated or kenneled if desired or needed. My 13-year old son loves dogs and loves to play and cuddle with them if your pet likes children. If your pet doesn't care for children, he also respects their individuality and desire to be left alone. If your pet likes to go on walks, the neighborhood is quiet, or we can go down to the paved trail where there are bicycles, lots of people, and other dogs to see. Your pet's comfort and mental state are always my # 1 priority. Over the years, I have learned not all dogs are comfortable the first visit away from home in a new environment with new smells. So, I always let their attitude lead to how much interaction they want from other dogs. If they are playful and relaxed and show no anxiety, I will introduce them first through a fence and then one-on-one with leashes to my dogs before they get to play together. This is the safest way to introduce dogs. If they are showing anxiety, I will keep them separated until they are comfortable. Most dogs readily acclimate to a new environment within a few hours. Your dog will never be left unsupervised with another dog (mine included). In the winter, your dog(s) may be the only visitors; however, I have many frequent visitors the rest of the year, who love to play with one another!

About: I’ve taken care of all different types of dogs in my time. With 3 large breed dogs of my own, I am comfortable training, playing with, walking, and medicating all shapes and sizes. I have first hand experiences with different species, including Reptiles, Birds, cats, and rodents. At my own home I have 2 cats and a dog on daily prescriptions so I am familiar with administering different types of treatment, including insulin, and always strive to keep it as comfortable as possible. I am currently working full time at Southeast Missouri State University as staff, but that won’t stop me from providing the top care for your pets. I can stop before 8am, again at lunch, back at dinner and even a later evening visit if I’m not staying full time. Petcare is already apart of my daily routine. Since I have so many of my own animals I do not accept boarding animals at my own home, for the safety of all pets involved. I strive to keep pets on as close to their regular schedule as possible. I can stay overnight, pop in for walks or day visits, whatever and whenever you need me I will be there!

About: I have had a great experience caring for pets throughout my life. Taking care of animals has taught me responsibility, patience, and compassion. I am comfortable feeding, walking, grooming, and spending time with pets to make sure they are happy and healthy. I enjoy being around animals and always treat them with kindness and care. I have no job at the moment so I can please your animals as much as they need. I can do multiple things and still make your animal my priority I have a yard big enough to run in. Couches and bowls to drink out of. No noisy things around. Have toys and leashes. I also have a park nearby and a trail so we can walk there if needed

About: Animal Science major who has been apart of a household with pets most of my life. I have experience with dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes along with enrichment training, fostering, pet sitting, walking and more. I've dealt with emergency scenarios with my own pets and will care for yours as if it was my own. I love all the pets and am always excited to meet more! I am currently only working under contracts and my schedule is currently very open. I am used to walking and caring for pets. Caring for pets fits in right along with my regular routine! I have a lard fenced in yard along with two friendly dogs. One is 7 year old male who is lazy and loves everyone, the other is a 1 year old border collie mix who's loves to play! Capable of keeping them separate when necessary or unsupervised. Very customizable to your pets wants and needs! I will put your pets first and make sure they have the best experience possible.

“Jenny took great care of my pup! He is very reactive and can be hard to handle, but everything went super smoothly. Jenny sent me a lot of pictures and checked in periodically each day she was with him. She was mindful to ask about what I was comfortable with her doing with him like taking him on a drive etc. She spent a lot of time with him, and I know he had a great time with her. About: I've had cats and dogs most of my life. I've cared for all ages and sometimes even special needs animals. Communication with pet parents is a must. I have my kitten on a timed eating schedule with wet food to help her get all the nutrients she needs. She also has toys for stimulation, and I play with her daily to increase her stamina and decrease pet depression. For cats, I keep them indoors and make sure they have enough stimulation in their environment. For dogs, it would depend on the weather, the backyard setup, and the specific care that each different individual animal may need.

About: I love animals, I have owned a pet my whole life and have enjoyed every bit of it. I have a heart made for animals and always want to give animals the best of love. I also love meeting new animals and would love to help you with your pets needs, playing with my dog is actually one of my favorite hobbies including running and walking with them. I also can bath or/and clip nails along with making sure they are fed the proper amount of food at the proper time of day. About: Hi I’m Madison! I love animals and have dog sat on multiple occasions for elderly and young dogs. I’d love to take care of your animals in exchange for the happiness I’ll get from walking and interacting with them! I have pretty open availability at the moment. I can pop in a couple times during the week or stay longer if needed. I do have animals at home so extended days will need to be talked about. I have a large yard that I can take your dog out to play in! There is also a park with a bunch of trails nearby!

About: I have babysit my family and friends fur babies over night for several years now . I enjoy spending the time with them and enjoy taking them on long walks and having play time with them. I have four dogs of my own that I take care of. I work for amazon right now monday thru thursday. Iam opened to helping out with customers pets friday tru sunday. I feed and water my dogs everyday, plus play with them to. If its a nice out i let my dogs choose if they want to stay outside or not until i get home from work, but they are inside on nasty days. They do come in at night and sleep with us. I give them their owns baths and trim their own nails. At the clients home I take their dog outside on a nice day to play and take their dogs on a walk. Before I would leave the clients home, I would make sure that their fur babies would have water and food . When we are on walks I make sure I carry water with me for their fur babies.
