About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 40 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist in Canton. My shifts are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch from 12-1pm. I do typically have weekends off with the occasional Saturday and Sunday at my part time jobs in East Peoria. Your home is their home. About: I've had in home pets for 25 years continuously. I am new to inside cats, but I'm learning quickly about what they entail. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and they all seem to end up cuddling with me, even at the same time. I have a weird schedule, a few hours in the morning and another few in the afternoon, so multiple check-ins a day a few hours apart are no problem. I have a secure outside pen for potty breaks. All of my fur babies are friendly, so new introductions would be welcome and safe in our home.
About: I have had experience in many different animal environments throughout the years spanning from animal shelters, clinics, doggy daycares, and dog training facilities. I have experience with reactive dogs and have one of my own so understand the struggle of owning a reactive dog. Working in shelters I was constantly walking and caring for the dogs and cats while maintaining a clean living environment for them. Working in clinic environments taught me to give medication and understand how important medication routines can be for both dog and cats. Finally I’ve had experience in dog training facilities with extremely reactive dogs and learned some skills in dog training as well! My schedule is very open right now and am willing to work with your schedules! Weekdays or Weekends I’m available for whatever you need! I have a fenced in yard for my large dog, who is reactive with unknown men, so he has plenty of space to exercise and play! He has a routine of when he is fed, same as my cats. Keeping my dog active is so important and my cats enriched is even more so since they are always indoors.
About: We have taken care of all kinds of animals for as long as we can remember. We recently raised a litter of 9 Australian Sheppards in my home. We also have a lot of experience with cats! We are reliable and caring people. True animal lovers. Everyone that knows us knows that we spoil our dogs and treat them like family (probably even better). I am a Registered Nurse and my boyfriend, Skyler, (who grew up on a farm) will also help care for your fur baby. We recently moved about 15 min outside of Canton, IL. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
