About: I have 9+ years of experience working as a dog walker and carer. I also volunteered at a dog rescue for an additional 2 years. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and with all sorts of personalities and physical limitations. Each dog requires their own individual attention based on their upbringing, age, and physical capabilities. I am patient and affectionate with dogs and love taking them outdoors to stretch their legs and explore the world. I hope you will consider me as your dog's next new friend. I live in a house with a small fenced yard, but take my dogs (and will take your fur baby) on several walks every day. I feed my dogs on their schedule and can easily follow your dog's schedule, being mindful of his/her specific needs. When boarding your dog at my home, your pup will be treated as lovingly as mine. I cuddle, play, and exercise with the dogs. I make sure your dog is happy while you're away, and I send a lot of pictures and videos. I know I would love the same if my dog were in your hands. I generally do Rover walks Mondays-Wednesdays in Alexandria. I host dogs for daycare or boarding at my house in Manassas on Wednesday nights through Sunday nights. Your fur baby is in great hands at my home. I give lots of pets and cuddles, as well as taking your pup out to stretch his/her legs. I have a two dogs who enjoy playing tug and chase with new furry friends. There's also a shy cat who lives in the house, so your dog has to be good with cats.

“Our kitties are our furry children. Not only are they spoiled but we also have one that requires meds twice daily and not at an hour that anyone would want to be chasing a cat with medication. Katey took on the mission and finished it beautifully. At my request, she came over before hand to meet everyone and continued that while we were away. She even got to see one of our children that normally hides from the world. Somehow Katey was able to find her, put her food nearby and even got a picture! Cannot say enough great things about this sitter! She updated me with pics and texts as well.”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. In the last few years I've boarded over 30 dogs at the house. I've completed over 250 services on wag with dogs, cats, and a pig while maintaining a perfect 5.0 rating. References available upon request. Pet care is my full time job. Dogs will have free range around the house and I'm with them 100% of the time unless I have to go walk another dog. My house has a dog door attached to a fenced backyard which the dogs have full access to throughout the day. They're also allowed on the furniture and bed. We have a nice trail by the house which my dog and I walk about 5 miles a day on.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs from chihuahuas to bull mastiffs my entire life. One of my cats I raised from a two-week old kitten who needed to be syringe-fed every few hours when I was 15, so I am very familiar and comfortable with the amount of care that goes into raising a fur baby. I have worked in the pet grooming industry for three years now and work with all kinds of personalities every day and strive to make every experience with a pet as calm and as positive as I can. I am a full-time dog groomer, so I work 8.5-9 hours at the most 5 days out of the week, but I am able to attend to pets immediately before and following my work day. Your pet’s health and safety is my number one priority! Having worked very closely with dogs and cats (as well as having several of my own!), I am quick to identify any changes in habit or behavior in a pet. I am also super patient with pets and am more than happy to work with them to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible in my care.

About: I’m an avid animal lover with a remote day job working for an animal rights nonprofit. I previously worked as a professional dog walker in the Northern Virginia area. I've had the pleasure of providing top-notch services including daytime puppy training, dog walking, cat sitting and overnight stays to help furry friends get relief and feel safe, secure, and comfortable when their human is away from home. I also have a background volunteering at the SPCA in Charlottesville, where I assisted with dog walking and cat socialization. I’ve worked with a wide range of animals with varying sizes and energy levels. I am ready to provide your beloved animal with the love, care, and attention they deserve. I am available for in-home overnight visits during the week or weekend. During the week, I am available for morning visits between 9am-11am, afternoon visits between 1pm-3pm, and evening visits upon request. I am unable to accept clients in my home at this time. I welcome instructions from clients to ensure visits to their home run smoothly. I can easily crate dogs or leave them uncrated. I am happy to fill up water bowls and provide a treat or meal if requested. Please let me know where the leash and harness are within the home (if requesting a dog walk), and whether indoor enrichment is preferred during rainy weather. I am happy to take dogs out for a short potty break or longer walk in rainy weather but recommend a towel be left so I may dry your dog(s) off.
