“"I can't recommend Kristen enough as a pet caregiver! She has an incredible passion for animals and treats every pet as if they were her own. With a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health and Behavior and a perfect GPA, she’s not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally responsible. Since 2018, she has lovingly cared for her cat, and in 2023, she welcomed a dog into her life—both of whom she absolutely spoils with love, treats, and thoughtful care. Kristen’s pets are her fur babies, and any pet in her care will be showered with attention and affection. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and truly devoted, Kristen is the perfect choice!"”

11. Ava S.
About: I am a former kennel attendant/groomer as well as a dog mom to four rescue chihuahua mixes! I have experience with aggressive/reactive dogs, senior/hospice, special medical needs and puppies. Working with dogs is my passion. After working for different kennel/grooming facilities across the state and being deeply shocked and disappointed by the treatment of customer’s dogs behind closed doors, I decided to join Rover and provide the quality of care I would want my dogs to receive. If permitted, I love to take the dog(s) on “excursions”, like dog friendly beaches or hikes. My dogs are very well socialised with other dogs, however I always do slow, one on one introductions to ensure they are set up for success. All dogs leave with an exit bath, nail trim, and freshly washed bedding (if provided by the owner) which is included in the boarding price. If you would like more information about daycare or boarding with me, please reach out with any questions! I have an extremely flexible schedule. Typically I do a morning and evening walk. Feeding schedule is kept closest to how dog eats at home. I do not have a fenced in yard, however I do regular potty breaks/walks with harnesses. I am currently in the process of getting fencing!

12. Michaela C.

“We loved having Michaela look after our puppy, and or puppy loved her! We’ll definitely be rebooking her next time we go on vacation.”

13. Tessa N.
About: I have had animals my entire life and love meeting new ones! I would love to help your family and meet your furry friends! T I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your furry friends! I have a pretty flexible schedule and I am willing to work with you. I have a puppy of my own and she is the light of my life! She is full of life and I love brininging her on walks and playing with her. I would treat your furry friends as I treat my own !

14. Erin D.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved last year, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with had that as a specialization.) I’m currently working from home doing some freelance work and have many opportunities to go for walkies. We are currently without a dog in our home, and I’m looking to get out more. Any pet I take care of is treated as if they’re a member of the family. I believe in spoiling pets with love, but keeping the boundaries of the owner so as not to undo any training. Reinforcing good behavior is always a priority.

15. Noah B.
About: I raised my own herd of dairy goats starting when I was 11 years old. I have been working with dogs since I was 16, I worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years and I now work at a shelter. I have loved all sorts of animals from a very young age. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs that required specific medical care (diabetes etc.) I am always willing to learn the proper care for your pet. I currently work full time, but I will gladly stop by after work to give some love to your furry friends. Evenings typically work best! All of the animals in my home are very well cared for, up to date on all vaccines, and very happy. I have a variety of animals including reptiles.

16. Jamie B.
“Jamie KNOWS animals! She grew up on a farm - with cows, horses, pigs, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. She has always been an animal person. She has a degree in animal care - she worked in vets offices in central Maine for many years. Her love of animals has continued and she is the mom to a horse, dog, cats and chickens. Animals love her and she loves animals. She will take fantastic care of all your fur babies.”

17. Alexis V.

“Very attentive and so good with my dogs! Alexis is an amazing sitter and takes such good care of my dogs!”

18. Robert B.
“Robert (Bobby) treats our animals like the family they are. We often tease thee that our home is owned and operated solely for the comfort and convenience of our dogs! He will treat anyones pets as his own, and take exceptional care of them for you!”

19. Alexandra D.
“Hello, I have known Alexandra for 7 years. She's extremely compassionate and caring towards all flora and fauna. Alexandra has been constantly moving since she finished graduate school, so she has never quite had the means, permission, or the space to fairly raise a puppy of her own. Though this is true, this is probably the first thing she will do when this becomes a possibility. She is constantly volunteering herself to care for her friend's and family's dogs, and has handled many breeds both big and small. Alexandra's love for dogs is real, I couldn't think of anyone better for the job!”

20. Nancy B.
About: I am an outdoor 4 season enthusiast! At home full time with lots of time, energy and love for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Over the years I have owned and cared for many different breeds from Yorkshire terriers, Siberian huskies, Cheasapeake Bay retrievers, Brittany Spaniels, Australian shepherds, golden retrievers, poodles for starters. Ready, willing, able to provide discipline, some training and treats! The environment is a safe, country setting with play area and an enclosed, fenced back yard.. There are no other pets or children in my home. Your dog(s) will be TOP dog and the focus of my care, play and concern. Lots of room for exploring and learning here with a capable, eager handler. I really enjoy meeting new people and their pets. I am a home body and an avid adventure seeker. An active community member and local volunteer for several non profits. Leave NO trace! Be safe out there. Always. There is plenty of room to explore or just snore the day away here. A large fenced in area provides a safe space for several dogs. I can host (2) dogs from the same family.
