Feed per owner directions (you have them sing for dinner, I will too), refresh water, photograph/video each encounter to share with owner at visit, clean up pet messes, sit on floor and play, make sure home is securely locked when leaving

In another sit, I tended to a rescue crow and her two cat companions for a full month while the owners were in India studying Vedic astrology. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and two cats, sometimes we do have a dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

About: Since 2023, my paid experience has included overnight and daytime home stays, for up to 24 hours at a time or weekly. Imagine a Mary Poppins for your beloved pets who provides the social and emotional support to buffer you during long getaways. Two walks daily, if needed, by forest or urban trail. I am here to ensure the proper amount of exercise. I am here to guide the fun, support the snuggles, and provide proper nutrition. Multiple types of animals welcome. I have passed numerous background checks as an elementary school substitute teacher. So I have full availability overnight, on weekends, and for extended periods between Nevada County and Placer County. I usually stay a week or more with fur babies. You can relax knowing I am keeping the utmost care and safety of your animals and home. References on request. I want to clarify during our visit if you need care at the 2-hour, 4-hour, or 6-hour interval beyond the overnight stay of 7 pm to 7 am. Communication is key! I will send daily pictures or updates. For best prevention, talking about the details with the owner and ground rules produces the best results. Topics will include where the pet feels most comfortable such a calm spaces or crating procedures. I make sure to go over emergency contacts and preferred clinics. Also, I keep a clean environment that ensures the safety of pets for food handling.

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

My clients are now primarily dogs and cats, but I am experienced and open to accepting all animals! I have experience with live-stock guardian pets, reactive animals, high energy pets, and pets that just want to relax all day. I am comfortable and familiar with animals who have anxiety, boundary reactivity, resource guarding issues, behavioral issues, puppies, senior animals and so much more. I’ve worked in shelters, on farms, and in training for over 10 years. Your animals will be treated just like my own-with love, respect and understanding! I am typically unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays, but always feel free to ask about a particular Tuesday or Thursday and I may be able to schedule with you. Feel free to ask any questions about schedules. My rates include constant care while I’m with your animals. I don’t currently offer boarding since one of my dogs is reactive. Your pets safety is my biggest priority! I want to care for your pets in the way you do, to ensure they’re as comfortable as possible while you’re away. About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. My best days available are Monday-Thursday but weekends are pretty flexible I live on 10 acres off of the auburn wine trail, we have fenced in large fields to play a private pond with brisk up hill climb perfect for walks with no concern of cars or other dogs. I’ve been trusted by many families to stay in their home as well but I do prefer to have them come to me because it’s a dog paradise.
