About: I am a 47 year old male, whose Air Force duties were crew chief for F-22 fighter jets, serving overseas during the Iraq war. I have top secret security clearance and many missions under my belt. My passion now is animals. I am currently an SPCA foster parent to both dogs and cats. No job is too big or too small when caring for your pet. Whether they have medical needs or just need a happy face to lick, I can take care of it all. I am available day or night with total peace of mind everything will be cared for. I live in South Lakeland. I am retired and available for boarding, client home boarding and care, pet walks and visits. I'm available any day and time. I will answer all requests as soon as I see them. I live alone in a small and safe community, with little traffic, which makes it safe for walks. I have a unfenced yard but I take great care allowing the dog to have freedom in the yard while being on a leash. I have access to a fenced in dog "play" area in my community. My home is non-smoking, cozy, and quiet. I keep the home air cool to provide comfort for the animals. I maintain constant contact with the dog(s) to know they are safe and happy. About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

About: 4 yes I spent 4 yrs a vet tech. 10 other years I spent on a farm training sheepdog I'd rather have no other friend I am disabled due to a brain tumor but has nothing to do with my ability to love. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I STRICTLY KEEP ONLY ONE PET FAMILY AT A TIME - so I can focus on their personal and familiar schedule, happiness, and safety. As for my background and experience, as a youth, I began fostering animals for the SPCA at 12 years old, and then at 16 began raising and training guide dog puppies for Southeastern Guide Dogs. I have been awarded volunteer and foster of the year both by the SPCA. As I got older. I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

About: I am a huge animal person, I love to have fun with dogs and am able to run with and play with them the whole time they are in my care. I have a beagle who is pet friendly, but if I house sit or drop in she will not be present. I have had my beagle 8 years and she is my favorite being in this entire world. I think I like animals more than people. I am responsible with pet care and can tailor feeding and walking to each individual dog. I understand that each dog has their own personalities and quirks and can make sure each pet gets the care they need and desire. I am currently between jobs so my availability is open. I have had experience training my own dogs and some friends dogs and am willing to work with puppies who are not yet potty trained.
