About: I’ve walked dogs for years in my town and currently house and dog sit for someone. Many people have seen the way I take care of the animals and have hired me based on this. I’m currently an in home care nurse that works 36 hours a week. This means I am off 4 days a week with mainly open availability. I enjoy spending my time with as many animals as possible. I care other peoples animals just as I would my own. Animals don’t do wrong on purpose, they show us unconditional love and they deserve the same in return.

About: I can’t wait to meet your fur-member(s) and create memories that'll last a lifetime—capturing every silly moment, joyful zoomie, and cheeky personality along the way. I have a deep love for animals, and mistreatment or neglect is never tolerated and will suffer consequences as no animal deserves to be injured or ditched by unfit owner(s). As the owner and operator of a professional pet care business, my goal is to ensure your four-legged family member is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes—from hounds and pit bulls to Jack Russells—no pet is too big or too small. Exercise, nutrition, and safety are always top priorities, with regular walks, close supervision, and personalized care. I’m available on call 24/7 and proudly offer walking, boarding, feeding, playdates, bathing, and homemade dog food services—ensuring your pet is treated to the highest standard. Caring for animals is my passion! I have been a sitter for 6 years now and still have clients that call me first. All about trust :) When taking care of any animal I always treat them with respect and that goes for a client's home as well. If something needs attention, or if plants need watering? I'm on it!

About: In my spare time I am in the kitchen creating healthy organic pet safe treats for clients. I have been working with animals since a young age, I was raised in an animal loving vet tech household. My first job was at an animal hospital, and that is the career I chose to follow. I have worked in and managed animal hospitals, shelters, dog training, doggie daycare, boarding facilities, and even as an Animal Control Officer. I started my Pet Sitting Business in 2011 officially after seeing pets at the boarding facility and hospitals I worked at being so stressed being away from home. I specialize in special needs pets with special needs and geriatric. I have worked with diabetic, blind, deaf, pets need fluid and medication administration. I of course pet sit all animals special needs or not. I have experience working with canine, feline, small animal, farm animals, and even exotics! I always communicate with pet owners to create the most ideal pet sitting schedule that is closest to their pet’s normal routine. I am a stay at home parent currently so have time while my children are at school and evenings. I come to you! Your pets are safe in their own home and where they are the most comfortable. I offer drop in visits, daily walks, and overnight care in the home.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. My neighbors trusted me to watch their dogs as well. I now have 3 big dogs of my own! I can fall in love with any dog regardless of size or temper. In my eyes all dogs need the same amount of love! I am in between jobs at the moment but looking for a part time job as well as this. I also have a 6 month old baby and I am adapted to being a mother at the same time. I make sure they have their water bowls filled. Also will make sure to feed them based on what feeding schedule they are on at the time, and take them for walks daily. Also I’ll make sure they get enough love and affection while their owners are gone.

About: I have cared for domestic pets of all kinds - cats, dogs (all sizes), birds, turtles, lizards, etc - as a sitter and for fun. My aunt (whom my mother lives with) is a dog trainer as well as a breeder (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) 25+ yrs. I grew up volunteering my time doing puppy evaluations, crate-training, potty-training, etc. I frequently babysit my friends pets while they are away, and have cats of my own at the house! I recently resigned my job as a firefighter, and have extra time in my schedule to have a side gig I care about. Walks, hikes, runs and swims if the dog is active! I understand each pet as it’s own needs and individual personalities. I care for other pets as they were my own, and I hope to make a great fit as a sitter for you! I am available 24/7 for pet care (overnight or drop-ins) as I recently resigned from my job to move to FL with my partner. I am currently looking for a full-time job. So call me! I live in an apartment complex with a large, fenced in dog park. It’s location is safe, next to a middle school. We have plenty of empty space to watch pets over night in separate rooms, or let them roam free depending on their personal needs. Additionally, the complex is located next to an outdoor recreation area with walking trails and sidewalks.

Laura has been an absolute LIFESAVER for my furbabies and my husband and I. Jake and Minnie love their walks with her. She really exercises them and they love spending some much needed time out of the house getting some fresh air and Vitamin D. Thank you again for being so understanding all the time! Would definitely recommend again and again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 1,683 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Camp Ocala. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Camp Ocala. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Camp Ocala.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Camp Ocala. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
