About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I am observant of their communication styles, and use my observation skills to make sure I attend to their needs and keep them happy. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to go for walks and give potty breaks almost anytime day and evening. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I am happy to visit your pet in your home to offer a potty break, take for a walk, or just give some attention.

About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. My focus is providing an enriching experience for your dog .

About: I love animals. I’m compassionate, caring, dependable, honest and sincere. I’ve been around dogs all of my life. I’m a mom of two boys, a caregiver and I also have two dogs of my own. Before starting a family, I volunteered at local animal shelters and worked at the Marin Humane Society for almost a year as an animal care technician. Also, my older son is studying to become a vet tech and has a lot of personal experience with dogs and cats himself.I believe that pets are an integral part of the family and should be treated as such. I work as a direct support professional for a group home for disabled women in Windsor. I have a split shift schedule, and have Fridays and Sundays off. It’s only about a ten minute commute to work across town. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary once a week. I have extensive experience with animals. I have a fenced yard and a one level home. I no longer have two small dogs of my own, a Jack Russel/chihuahua mix and a shitzu/maltese/bichon mix +, one passed away in October and the other in January of this year from old age.
