About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life! I grew up surrounded by dogs, and my mom owned a pet-sitting business, so caring for other people’s pets was a big part of my childhood. I helped care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, including walking, feeding, playtime, and administering medications as instructed. I’ve also owned dogs of my own since I was 22 and currently have an English Bulldog and a Dachshund mix. During the week, I’m a pediatric physical therapist and mom of three boys. Mondays are my day off, and I decided I couldn’t think of a better way to spend some of that time than getting outside, staying active, and hanging out with dogs! My healthcare background has made me dependable, attentive to detail, comfortable following specific instructions, and very aware of safety. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and individual needs. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your pup with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! I work as a pediatric physical therapist Tuesday through Friday, which leaves my Mondays open. I’m looking forward to spending my day off doing something I genuinely enjoy—getting outside, staying active, and spending time with dogs! I have flexibility throughout the day on Mondays for walks and drop-in visits, making it easy for me to give each pup plenty of time, attention, and care without feeling rushed. I care for every dog in their home as if they were my own. I know dogs are happiest and most comfortable when their normal routine is maintained, so I carefully follow each owner’s instructions for walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and any special needs. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and safety is always a priority. I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while you’re away, and I’m happy to send photos and updates so you can feel confident knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). I have housesit/housesat and dogsit/catsit/ bird and turtles-sat for friends and was suggested to extend my love on ROVER! I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals on and off for about 34 years) …cared for puppies, adults and senior dogs such as pit bulls, Pekingese, Shih Tzu , mini pincher Dobermans ,then fostered a German Shepard, a black pup Labradors, also taken cared of a Golden Retrievers, a Pitbull, poodles, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). (Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around . I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need) Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-9 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, break, lunch, then around 3-4pm, around/after dinner time, and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/cat/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, clean, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my kids, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time.
