About: I’ve raised dogs my entire life and my one year old golden loves to walk, play, travel and meet other dogs. I am retired and happy to be of assistance! I was also a ER nurse for over 25 years. I am retired and have plenty of time to help care for or walk any other dogs. I love to walk on a daily basis and maintain a healthy life style. I live in a very pet free home where food is put away and nothing dangerous is accessible for my dog or any others to get into.
About: I have been babysitting and dog sitting since I was in middle school, which has given me years of experience in being responsible, attentive, and patient. I love staying active and being outdoors, so I’m always happy to take pets for long walks or keep kids engaged with fun activities. Whether I’m following a specific care routine or just providing some extra playtime, I pride myself on being dependable and treating every home with respect. While my schedule varies with my part-time job, I am very flexible and able to work around my shifts to make accommodations for your pet's needs. I am a full-time student taking online courses, which allows me to be home frequently and maintain a presence for pets who need extra attention. I am dedicated to coordinating my time to ensure your furry friends are never left without care and get plenty of playtime throughout the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet I watch, no matter where I’m at. Having been around animals since middle school, I understand the importance of trust and consistent routines. I am very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks or playing outdoors, ensuring they stay happy and healthy. I am also comfortable following any specific safety instructions or crating needs to keep your pet feeling secure.
About: *The prices you see on my account are negotiable! I enjoy helping others and believe in just paying what you can!* I have been an animal owner my whole life. About 5 years ago I started animal sitting and house sitting for people I know and am now wanting to reach out further! Since I am unable to have a million of my own animals I love to care for other peoples babies like they are my own! I really enjoy making a special connection with animals and learning their quirks :) I have never had a problem while sitting, and I am positive when the time comes I can work through what is thrown at me. I am capable correctly administering meds to animals in need and adhering to a strict diet and feeding plan. I work full time (3 Days a week) at a hospital as a PCT. I generally work every other day MWF so I will be home quite a bit. In the past my boyfriend (who is a HUGEE animal lover) has also stayed and helped care for animals with me, he gets off work earlier than me so he generally helps with potty breaks and play time. On the days I am off I like to go on walks before the heat kicks up for the day and after dinner around 7pm when it cools down. I generally only care for clients animals in their own home to keep the pet feeling safe and leading to a more trustworthy relationship. There has been many times after the pet and I have gotten comfortable that we go on car rides to my home or out to watch little kid baseball games. I have taken dogs to day care to get some extra enrichment with their doggie friends as well.
“Our puppies love Glen. Because they’ve been walking with him on a regular basis, their muscles are strong and they walk around with a newfound confidence. They have been able to walk farther and farther with each subsequent walk, which makes all of us happy.”

About: Hi! I'm Jenna. The "Me every time I see a dog. Do you share this reaction?" meme with Andy from Parks & Recreation is literally me every time I see a dog. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Cameron. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Cameron after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
