“This was only my 2nd appointment with Glen. He was on time and Diesel seems to like him. This helps me out so much to have someone walk him on Thursdays. I walk him everyday! Thursdays are difficult as I like to run my errands before the weekend.”
2. Melissa H.
“Melissa was wonderful. My dog, Winston, is a bit nervous around new people, but he warmed up to Melissa right away. She always gave him a great walk, and was always quick to respond when I needed to book more sessions. Will definitely use again!”

About: From teeny to massive, I can love, cuddle, walk, and care for dogs & cats of all breeds and temperaments. Blind, deaf, senior, tripaws, puppies, car-phobic, escape artists, I've watched 'em all! From dogs (pets) that were trained before they were even born, to the dogs you're terrified to let anyone watch, I'm your girl. Not only have I cared for them all, I've also owned them all. I know how uneasy letting someone watch your furry family member is, so I want to reassure you they'll not only get the care you asked for, but they'll get it with lots of love, scratches, and pets! I work locally and with very flexible hours, partially work from home. My schedule would be different on a weekly basis, but I have plenty of time to care for your pet, and am free every evening and night. You can absolutely trust me in your home and with your pets. Just like I'd treat your pets like they were my own, I'd do the same with your home. I can send photos (pupdates!) as desired and have endless local references.

About: Hey there, I'm Steph. It is my pleasure to spend time with any animal. I know how stressful it can be to spend time away from your pet(s), so I hope to assure you they will be in good hands with me. Any questions, please ask! Little bit of background - I was unfortunate enough to be totally knocked on my butt in March 2020 when the pandemic was starting. In my regrouping, I got into working primarily gigs and primarily on the road, basically living out of my Jeep (RIP). I wound up traveling to every state (not Hawaii) and 6 of Canada's provinces, transporting bands, gear, and most of all, animals. I am very confident in my skills as a caregiver to animals. Looking forward to meeting & greeting w your pets. For folks looking for establishing regular care, we can discuss modified rates. For my regulars (even if it's just a few times a year), I go to Costco 2-3×/month, happy to pick up whatever a client might need - this includes pharmacy. But for example, packs of 8tx of Frontline Plus for cats and any size dog are on sale for $60 this month (October 2024). I let you know about any potentially pertinent sales I spot and their price, and I'll pick up whatever if you leave me a note & cost+$5 in cash or Venmo up front. But like, if you're low on dog food or dumplings or eggs or whatever, I'm happy to pick that kinda stuff up too as long as I'm given appropriate notice. ✌️ Dogsitting is what I do for a living. I am a writer so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I'm happy to travel up to a couple hours away for shorter term sits. Most established regulars are in Muscatine, but willing to travel up to 15ish miles away. Just ask and I can see what we can set up. I love getting to know how to greet a pet, because it tells me everything I need to know about how they're doing. If I notice any off or new behaviors, I'll take note. I usually check in at the end of my visit, unless I have a question or concern. Love having little photo shoots at some point so I can send pictures and a solid summary of your pet's time w me.
8. Emily L.
“I have known Emily all her life. She is a bright, energetic, friendly young woman. She has volunteered with me frequently in the past, most recently at the ECC pop up food pantry through the majority of the COVID pandemic and as a crew leader at my church's summer Vacation Bible school. She has also had many opportunities to take care of my fur baby, Punky. Punky is an older girl and Emily has always been especially patient and gentle with my girl. Emily will love on and care for you fur baby as if it were her own. Highly recommend!”
