“We were super thrilled that Cole was available last minute to watch our two cats when we had to go away for a few days. Cole had excellent communication and we arrived home to a pair of healthy and happy cats. We’re glad to hear that our shy one, Mister, warmed up over the course of a couple days and that our more sociable one, Cherry, had a great time hanging with Cole. Would 100% book again and I highly recommend Cole to anyone with pets with medical needs.”

“Megan did great with my cats. They’re usually a little shy with new people but looks like they were comfortable with her right away. If the cats are happy and content then I’m happy, will book Megan again!”

About: Based in Lodi, I offer drop-in visits and dog walking for pets of all kinds—cats, dogs, and reptiles included! Experienced with meds, feeding, and puppy training, your pets are in good hands. I'm currently available most days and have a flexible schedule, as I’m not working full-time after a recent relocation. I was previously a stay-at-home mom and am now looking to bring in income while I search for a full-time role—unless this becomes that for me (which would be amazing!). I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m experienced with crating both dogs and cats when needed, and I always make sure reptiles have proper temperatures and habitat conditions during visits. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick check-in or taking your dog for a walk, I treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I give my own. You can count on clear communication, dependable care, and lots of love for your animals while you’re away.

About: My friends and family have relied on me to look after their dogs when they’re at work or out of town. My care consists of lots of love, running around in parks and more. I have experience in taking care of cats, dogs and elders! I’m currently working for Rover part time. I will have lots of time to love and care for your pets! I am available on weekends for boarding and weekdays before 5. I have cared for my giant dog for the past 7 years. I love playing with him in the backyard, taking him out for runs and to the parks, as well as grooming his coat.

“Charlene did an amazing job watching my cat while I was out of town for several days. My cat doesn’t always take quickly to new people, but it was clear that she became relaxed around Charlene quickly. I received frequent updates and was confident that my cat was getting both care and engagement from her staying there. And Charlene was clear in her communication so that we were always on the same page. There were a lot of delays the day I was supposed to be heading home and it wasn’t clear that I would make it home the day I was supposed to. Charlene offered to do whatever she could to check in on my cat and make sure she was looked after still if I didn’t end up making it home. It’s clear her care and concern for animals, even shy kitties. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Chelsea’s care for our cats, Sol and Luna! From the moment we met her, it was clear she loves animals and treats them like her own. She kept us updated with daily photos and messages, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. Chelsea’s attention to detail, like making sure their favorite toys were out and giving them extra cuddles, truly made a difference. We highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable, loving pet sitter. Sol and Luna give her two paws up!”

About: I have extensive background in animal care and behavior, I have worked as a vet tech and started my own non-profit for special needs cats and kittens in 2009. I have been in the animal welfare field for 26 years. There are 10 fenced acres and 2.5 acres fenced within that is all grass for the pups to play on! I am home the majority of the day, all week and can provide a fun and enjoyable time while you are away. I want you to feel comfortable boarding your companion, so there is no extra charge for special needs, particular preferences, etc.- this is a customized experience. Your pet companion will be cared for and entertained the entire time! Your beloved pets will be watched 24/7 (brief errands do arise). They will have stimulation, play, and comfy couches or beds to sleep on when rest is needed. Your pets will be treated like part of our family. I do have a standing client where I care for their dogs in the mornings, so if needed, that can be worked around, but generally early mornings are difficult to offer during the week. Weekends are open. I have a fenced yard, with 2.5 acres available to run and play. I have friendly dogs that enjoy other dogs if they want to play. I have seperate areas if your dog prefers to be alone. The seperate areas are located inside with temperature control, or if they prefer outside, there are dog runs.

About: Kevin and I have both been caring for dogs and many other types of animals for our entire lives and absolutely couldn’t envision our life without several animals. Kevin has grown up around a family dog business - participating in AKC scent trials, agility training, boarding and almost any other type of dog event & training you can imagine. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire lifetime and used to help foster kittens as a child and teenager. We currently have two dogs, several cats, chickens, turkeys and more. Your animals will be in safe and caring hands with us! We both work but set our own schedules and/or work from home so your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. Since we have animals of our own, caring for additional pets is not a problem and part of our normal lifestyle. We have a large fenced dog run outside, in home kennel area, along with crates for crate trained dogs. Our property is about 5 acres and fully fenced with front gates so dogs cannot leave the area. We also have a couple large lawns we use for doggy playtime, fetch and training sessions.

“Taylor is the best! She visited my dogs 3 times a day and took amazing care of them. I know my pups are gonna miss her but I will be hiring her again! She is now the only person I trust with my dogs. Just amazing”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was young. I have pets of my own and would walk other dogs in the neighborhood. I have cared for all ages from puppies to senior dogs. I also have experience caring for cats and rabbits. I have two dogs that are now 11 and 13. My cats are 2 and 14. I am home from college for the summer so I am available anytime and any day. I will be available anytime until the end of August. Your animals will be my number one priority. I take great care of my animals and plan to do the same with yours. I will be sure to create a safe and loving environment for your pets.

About: I have my own German Shepherd, and like most of you and myself anytime I've needed someone to care for and look after Brooklyn I've always looked for someone who has pets of their own because it helps me trust them because they do all the things we all do for our pets that they do as well. I'm currently in a career that I chased the money but have hit a wall and realized I hate it now I want to make a change to something that would make me happy, and I cannot think of anything else at the time that would make me happier than getting to hang out and play with dogs all day. Hopefully you are looking for a animal loving person to help care for you pet friends when you can't be.

“As always the boys loved their stay with Rebecca and her family. Rebecca sent pictures while the boys were staying with her so I was able to stay updated while away. They were happy boys when I picked them up.”

About: Hi there! I’m Aaralyn and have always been a lifelong animal lover. I would be more than happy to provide the help you need caring for your animals— whether it is just a few hours during the day or for a week! I am here to ensure your animals will be given the best care. To do this I will give your pets daily walks, enrichment activities and promise to treat your animals as if they are my own. I also love keeping you updated with photos so you can stay connected with your pets while you're gone! To let you know a little about me, I am currently a UC Davis student and am looking to spend my time over the summer with some sweet animals! I have plenty of experience with many different animal such dogs, cats, and more. I know how to care for a range of pets as I have cared for senior animals and special needs animals before. I myself have a pup who needs medication every morning and night which come with side effects such as increase in thirst, hunger, and hyperactivity. So, I am well immersed with dogs that may require a little more maintenance. For house sitting, I’d love to meet your animals beforehand so they know who I am first and feel more comfortable when stay in their home for a prolonged period of time. What works best for me is a small yet informational note outlining your pets daily routine— things like when they eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, how much they eat, how often you would like them to be walked, where they go or what they do while I am out of the house, and anything else you feel is necessary. This lets me get an idea of what the animals needs/wants while I am there. This allows me to maintain a comfortable environment for them in hope to reduce any possible stress. For drop in visits: Usually I stay for about an hour and half per drop in visit but if more time is needed or requested that is not a problem! During that time, I will go on walks, engage in different activities with them, and check on food/water too. Also, while I am there if there is any other house maintenance that needs to be done such as skimming the pool or checking the mail let me know! I am happy to however I can. Overall, I hope to hear from you and meet all your pets soon! This summer, I do plan on working, likely part-time, so I will have lots of time to spend time with your animals and taking them on walks or other ways to exert energy! To keep the animals as comfortable as possible with a new person in their home I try to stick to a similar routine that they are used to.
