About: I've cared for mostly dogs (with a cat or bird thrown in there) countless times, starting when I was 14. I've cared for the animals of friends, extended family, and neighbors. While most of my experience is with small adult dogs (Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, Shiba Inu, Jack Russell Terrier, Chihuahua Terrier mix, Havanese), I have also worked with a few larger breeds (English Springer Spaniel, Boxer, Golden Doodle) and three older dogs. I've had up to three (small) dogs stay at my house simultaneously while the owners were on vacation. I've also made numerous daily visits. Most of my experience is just giving a simple walk. I've had the big, energetic dogs that require three long walks a day, plus extra playtime. I've also done overnight sitting, staying over at the owner's house with the dog for a combined month (spread out over a few months). I was the primary caretaker of our family dogs (small dogs), bathing and grooming them regularly. One of our dogs had a skin condition, so I was also accustomed to using a combination of medical shampoo/ conditioner treatments. As they aged, I also started preparing specialty foods, giving medication, and administering insulin. I’m currently working part-time and actively looking for full-time work, which gives me a flexible and open schedule. That flexibility allows me to prioritize pet care—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. I love having the time to focus on giving dogs the attention they deserve. Spending time with animals is not just something I enjoy—it brings structure, purpose, and joy to my day. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and because I’m not juggling a rigid 9-to-5, I can be available during off-hours, weekends, and holidays when others might not be. Whether it's a quick walk around the block or a multi-day stay, I'm able to adapt my week around the needs of the pets I’m caring for—and I take that responsibility seriously. When staying in a client’s home, I aim to keep routines consistent—walks at familiar times, meals in their usual spot, and lots of affection in their own space. I keep the home clean and secure, and always send regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs lots of exercise or a senior dog who just wants a cozy nap, I adjust my care to meet their needs—with patience, respect, and lots of love.

About: I am a research tech looking to help out in my community with four legged friends. I am happy to hang out with a couch potato elderly dog or take a high energy pup on a long walk! I have two dogs of my own— one of which is a senior dog with severe arthritis. I understand the daily challenges that comes with and how that impacts owners! I have lots of experience with smaller and older dogs. I have a lot patience for older dogs especially, my previous dog lived till he was 15 and needed constant care. I am available during the week and most weekends, and can house sit if necessary. I have a dog with medication and dietary needs. I have lots of experience with administering all types of pills and other forms of medication or dietary needs. I will make sure your dog and home are well taken care of while you are gone. I am allergic to cats, but can house sit if need be depending on the living situation for the cats. I prefer feeding, watering and changing litter boxes instead of house sitting. I am in between careers at the moment, and have lots of time to walk and house sit. I am open to all hours and days. I live in a house with a giant backyard. I can provide crating if necessary. I am also open to house sitting so your pet feels more comfortable.

About: I can’t have my own dog right now, so I’d love to hang out with yours! I grew up with dogs (puppies to old dogs) and I have watched friends’, neighbors’, and family members’ dogs for them. I am responsible and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I work on campus ~9-5 pm (M-F), but my schedule is somewhat flexible if hours need to be adjusted for the pet. I am available all day on weekends and most weeknights. I am a responsible PhD student and will do my best to take care of both your pet and your home and follow any specific guidelines from you. I will take your dog on a run in the morning if you’d like, and I’d love to play with your dog/cat. :) I’m also happy to transport your pet in my car.

About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.
