About: I was raised from the age of eight with my Pomeranian, Gizmo. I have 4 years of professional experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. My wife and I have always had at least one dog since 2006, most of the time we have had two. We currently have two dogs, our Mini Schnauzer/Cairn Terrier Bentley, and our Maltipoo, Prince, I am currently retired, so my schedule is your schedule, to include holidays, weekends, and short notice boarding/dog sitting and walking services. Bottom line, I am here for you and your dogs! We have a fenced in back yard for them to play in. I will also follow any special feeding instructions, to include times, special additives, or any treats. I only ask that you provide the food and treats your dog is used to; this will avoid any stomach upset from different foods.

About: I have two large breed dogs, and I can train dogs to do basic commands. I have taken care of animals ranging from rabbits and goats to horses. I have much experience with senior cats. I have cared for a cat for 17 years who was blind, and I just had to put down my 15 yr old cat due to thyroid issues for which I gave her meds twice a day. I have also bottle fed baby animals and had to assist one of my dogs when she had a litter of 11 puppies, which I cared for on my own. My only job right now is caring for my two dogs and my cat! So I have plenty of time to pet sit and or walk pets. I will care for the pets in my client's home according to their exact specifications. I can't bring other animals into my home as I already have 3 pets.
About: I have taken care of dogs for my entire life and their entire lives! From puppy to senior, I am more than confident in my abilities to provide outstanding care! I am currently a college-freshman! I do online classes so I am available anytime for potty breaks, boarding, medication distribution, or just a plain and simple play date! A dog park is located near me, just down the road, to take your fur babies to! I also have a very playful puppy for your pups to meet! (she can also just spend time in her room if not) I have a crate if your dog is crate trained, I have puppy pads if your baby isn’t fully potty trained. As well as, plenty of toys and treats for you furry friends!
About: I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love, I can’t imagine life without dogs. Every dog deserves to feel valued, and if I can give your pup a little extra love than they already receive from you, I’d be honored! Pet care is part of my daily routine with my pups already—feeding, walking, playing, and cuddling. It brings structure, joy, and a sense of responsibility to my week. I take caring for my own pets and others very seriously—I make sure they receive enough quality time, food, walking, playing, and attention. I want them to feel safe, happy, and loved whether in my home or a client’s.
About: I provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every pet like a member of my own family. I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and preferences to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies who need consistent training and socialization, as well as senior pets who require extra patience, medication management, and gentle care. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering medications, daily exercise, and reinforcing basic training commands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners through regular updates, clear communication, and dependable care you can trust. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine alongside my part-time work schedule. I have flexible availability and can provide dependable care during mornings, evenings, weekends, and many weekdays. I make sure to dedicate quality time to each pet for walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and any special care they may need. Because I work part-time, I can maintain a balanced schedule that allows me to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I am committed to being reliable, punctual, and responsive, ensuring your pet’s routine remains consistent and stress-free while you’re away. Safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I strive to maintain their normal routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I ensure pets always have access to fresh water, regular meals, exercise, and plenty of attention. I carefully follow all instructions provided by pet owners, including feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise requirements, and any special preferences. During walks and outdoor time, I prioritize safety by keeping pets securely leashed and supervised at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and provide regular updates, photos, and communication for peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Callisburg. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route, the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Callisburg after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
