“Brandy made sure our two golden retrievers were well taken care of while we were away for a week! She kept us informed and made it easy not to worry. We came home to two very happy puppies! 🥰”

“María watched our 6 month old puppy for several days, and she is fantastic! She gave us frequent updates and took a lot of great pictures. She made sure our pup was well cared for and had fun while we were gone! She is very compassionate and an animal lover. On top of taking great care of our pup, she also took time to make sure our apartment was tidy when we got home. We will definitely have María look after our pup in the future!”

“Amanda is an absolute gem! She took such great care of our girls, Piper and Roux. They got walks, cuddles, time outside to play, and we got photos and videos throughout the time we were away. Amanda made sure to connect with us on prep beforehand, as well as any questions while we were away. When we got home, both pups were excited to see us, but had clearly enjoyed their long weekend with Amanda! Outside of just the pet sitting, Amanda took great care of our house. We came home to find everything in its place and her used towels and linens were even stacked in the laundry room to mistake it easier for us to We would absolutely use Amanda again - she is fabulous!”

“Courtney took amazing care of my fur babies, managed the house during the chaos of construction in my back yard and provided regular updates to put my mind at ease. Recommend a ns would use again!”

“Maureen was amazing giving us updates and sending pictures so we felt at ease even when we were across the country from our Lily. She also left a super sweet note and magnet she’d made. Will definitely be rebooking.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for caring for dogs. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 15 years old, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to senior companions. I’ve personally house trained all of my own dogs growing up, so I’m very comfortable with helping reinforce good habits and routines. In addition to puppy training, I’m also attentive to the special needs of senior dogs, including slower-paced walks, medication schedules, and making sure they’re comfortable and well-cared for. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs so they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine! I have a hybrid work schedule, which means I'm home most of the week and only go into the office two days. This allows me to be present and attentive, giving pets the love, care, and attention they need throughout the day—whether it’s for walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and love incorporating pet care into my everyday life. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always to make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I tailor my care based on the pet’s routine and needs, whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, giving medication, going on regular walks, or simply spending quality time playing or cuddling. When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I provide a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. For in-home visits or house sitting, I’m respectful of my client’s space and aim to keep things as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible to help reduce stress while their owner is away. No matter the setting, I focus on clear communication, reliable care, and lots of love to give pet parents peace of mind.

“Raquel is amazing and did a wonderful job making my high anxiety dog feel relaxed and loved while I was away. I highly recommend Raquel she certainly has a talent and great love caring for animals. Thank you so much Raquel for giving me peace of mind knowing Frankie was in good hands!! Loved all the pics and videos you sent throughout the day of my happy pup!”

Whether your pet is young and playful or a senior in need of a little extra care, I look forward to giving them the best care they need. I’ve cared for many medium to large dog breeds such as Labrador Retrievers, Boxers, Pit Bulls, Siberian and Alaskan Huskies, and Malamutes. I also have experience with smaller breeds like Dachshunds and French Bulldogs. For cats, I’ve grown up with them in my own home as well as cared for friends and neighbors over the years. I currently share my home with two of my own, Ulysses and James 🐈 🐈⬛. Reliable, compassionate, and trained in pet first aid, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm also happy to help with simple household tasks like bringing in packages or taking out the trash. Feel free to reach out during a visit and let me know! 🕓 Schedule I have a fairly flexible work schedule. I do work a typical 9-5 but can pop in and out for short periods of time. Please message me and we can get you on my schedule ☺️ 💛 Care I think having a set routine for pets is very important, especially when you’re away. Ideally I would try to best emulate what schedule you have your pet on with walks and feeding schedule.
“Jackie was Amazing! She stayed at my house while watching 4 of my dogs. Everything was exactly how I left it. I gave her Full run of the house and yards. I highly appreciate all that she did. I will definitely use Jackie again in any of my future plans. Thank You again!! David”

The dogs are always excited to see her and she does a great job keeping us updated on all their picky eating habits and fun walk adventures. She definitely makes us feel much less stressed about leaving our dogs and we are so appreciative of the time and care she gives to them while we’re away. Our house is always clean and calm when we get home and the dogs are always happy. Justine is the best, I don’t know what we’d do without her.”

About: Hi, I’m Linda—your friendly neighborhood pet pal from the Northmont corner of La Mesa—a lifelong dog-and-cat whisperer with a soft spot for neighborhood strolls, sunny snuggle sessions, and furry companions of every kind. From playful pups to wise old whiskers, I’ve shared my home and heart with my dachshunds and kitties galore—and I still believe there’s nothing better than earning a tail wag or a quiet purr of approval. I'm 100% retired and based in La Mesa’s Northmont area, I live near Northmont park…with lots of room for running and chasing a ball, or just lounging under a shady tree. I bring calm, consistent care with a side of local flair. Your pet and I might wander familiar trails, explore shaded sidewalks, or simply lounge on the porch with the breeze in our fur. Whether it’s a walk, a weekend stay, or just a drop-in cuddle and kibble check, I’ll treat your four-legged family like my own—with warmth, punctuality, and lots of love. Let’s make your time away feel like just another cozy day for your pet. I'm 100% retired and based in La Mesa’s Northmont area. I am currently available 7 days/week. Prefer early morning walks if possible to protect your pet's paws from hot pavement and heat of the day. I prefer not to provide visits to my personal home, but more than willing to care for your fur babies in your home, where they're comfortable and in their familiar environment.

“Janet was a wonderful sitter for padfoot! She stayed with her all day, played fetch, took her outback, took her for walks, and was wonderful to any specifications I requested. She constantly sent me pictures to see how much fun paddy was having and picture texts relieved me of any worries I would of had except for knowing she was in great hands. You should not hesitate to book Janet for any dog services you need! Will book again! Thanks Janet!”

About: Well I'm out going and love animals. At one time in my life I've had 5 dogs, 19 dogs; and had fun and loved everyone of them.. I'm working to get my vet tech certification. I want to be able to stay in the field of animals some way or another they give a headache at times but they mainly give me peace, tranquility. And most of love and caring that no one person can do.. They can lighten up my day just by a lick or even just a smile in their eyes and an awesome wag of their tails. I work part time at the moment and I love to get out at least one time a day for closer to an hour. So what better way to do it is to have a companion to walk. I follow directions and as try to ask more questions to get a full and concise so I am not missing anything. Right now my housemates I live with has two akitas. And I help with feeding/watering and even at times grooming.
