My parents brought home a beagle three years ago, and from teething to training, I’ve been part of his puppy journey ever since. More recently, I’ve helped care for my boss’s 11-year-old dog, Iggy, which gave me insight into the gentler pace and extra care older pups sometimes need. What makes me different? About: I have had a dog for most of my life and have always been an animal lover. I have experience with dog sitting for family friends and i always ensure they are well cared for and loved in their owners’ absence. Growing up, I spent a lot of time at the Thunder Bay Humane Society, where I developed a deep love and understanding of animals. My approach to pet sitting is to treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the attention, care, and affection they deserve. I am currently working part time and I am a university student. I have weekends free and most week nights so I have lots of time to play with pups! I provide a safe, comfortable environment where pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. I have a fenced in yard and one very friendly dog.

About: I have had a family dog all my life and have ample experience taking care of pets. Recently I got into pet sitting for 3 different people regularly in Thunder Bay, and have spent up to 2 weeks full time sitting for 3 pets (2 large dogs and 1 cat). I will send you photos and updates of your pets as much as you desire! I love going on hikes with dogs and spending time playing and learning with them. I genuinely adore pets and love taking care of them. I am currently an Occasional Teacher for TBCDSB at the moment, so my work hours are fairly flexible and accommodating for caring for your furry friends. Most schools days start around 8am and end around 3pm, with a lunch break that I can use to let pets out if needed during the day. I live in shared housing, therefore boarding is not an option for me, however, I feel that pets are more comfortable in their own homes anyways. I really genuinely could spend all my time with dogs, so I promise you your dog(s) will get all the love and spoiling they deserve. I have lots of walking trails around my house, but also can walk wherever is accessible and don’t mind driving with or to your dog(s). I strive to keep pets schedules as familiar as possible and provide them with lots of exercise and love.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals and have always had a deep love for them. I spent two years working at an animal shelter, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all kinds. I also helped care for my grandmother’s dogs and cats, learning how to meet their individual needs. Now, I have two cats of my own who keep me company! To schedule services for your dog, please send us a booking through Rover! The humans work from home and care for pets throughout the day during regularly scheduled breaks and meal times. Pets are welcome to lounge in the home office during office hours for extra snuggles and supervision. Untrained dogs cannot come for day care on weekdays: the humans need to be able to work without excessive commotion during working hours. NOTE ON DROP-IN SERVICES AND WALKS: we do not provide multiple drop-in visits or multiple walk visits per day to the same household. If your pet needs more than one visit per day, please seek out day care or boarding. We use extra-tall baby gates to separate your pup from the house dog until we know everyone is well-acquainted. We have multiple sets of dishes, beds, blankets, toys, and treats on-hand for you pup! Our backyard is fully fenced, and is accessible via a patio door directly from the house. If your dog requires a solo stay, please let us know. Additional fees may apply. We can accept a maximum of three dogs from the same household at a time.

About: I pride myself on being punctual, clean & trustworthy! I have experience with all kinds of animals including livestock. From chihuahuas to Great Danes and puppies to seniors I’ve had a great deal of experience with them all. I am comfortable to continue training if provided instructions and give medications to pets who may need it! I own my own business and make my own hours so I can adjust as need be! I am happy to do early mornings or late nights. I love to get to know pets and their routine so I am able to make things as smooth as possible while the pet owner is away. I am meticulous with double checking doors, gates & latches and any other possible escape route.
