About: I have had a family dog all my life and have ample experience taking care of pets. Recently I got into pet sitting for 3 different people regularly in Thunder Bay, and have spent up to 2 weeks full time sitting for 3 pets (2 large dogs and 1 cat). I will send you photos and updates of your pets as much as you desire! I love going on hikes with dogs and spending time playing and learning with them. I genuinely adore pets and love taking care of them. I am currently an Occasional Teacher for TBCDSB at the moment, so my work hours are fairly flexible and accommodating for caring for your furry friends. Most schools days start around 8am and end around 3pm, with a lunch break that I can use to let pets out if needed during the day. I live in shared housing, therefore boarding is not an option for me, however, I feel that pets are more comfortable in their own homes anyways. I really genuinely could spend all my time with dogs, so I promise you your dog(s) will get all the love and spoiling they deserve. I have lots of walking trails around my house, but also can walk wherever is accessible and don’t mind driving with or to your dog(s). I strive to keep pets schedules as familiar as possible and provide them with lots of exercise and love.

About: Hi there! My name is Zola, and I am a Thunder Bay local with over 20 years of experience caring for and growing up around both cats and dogs. I offer reliable and trustworthy care and I am committed to providing pets with meaningful love, attention, and care they deserve! Whether it’s walking, playtime, or simply offering companionship, I ensure every pet feels safe and loved. I am also a volunteer at the Thunder Bay District Humane Society. 🐾 **NOTE: I will also be the caretaker that snaps 100 photos and videos of your pets lol! 🥰🐾 I am an avid photographer and videographer, so I would be more than happy to collect some memories for you. Monday to Friday during the day, with some flexibility on evenings and weekends. This availability allows me to give your pets the care and attention they need while you’re at work or away from home! Just send me a message and let's work something out! ☺️ Born and raised in Thunder Bay, I have experience living and visiting in many neighbourhoods across the city, making me familiar with the best routes and areas to explore with your dog. I’m deeply committed to my community and believe in providing services that help bring people and pets together. I tailor each walk or drop-in visit to your pet’s routine and preferences, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and engaged. Whether it’s a quick stroll, an adventurous outing, or a drop-in visit, I take pride in offering a personal touch that reflects my passion for the pets I care for. 😊

About: I spend my weekends caring for dogs who’ve been abandoned, mistreated, or forgotten—some so scared they won’t look you in the eye, others so full of love they jump into your arms. I’ve walked dogs who panic at the sight of a leash, and others who run toward life without fear. Every one of them teaches me something. On my days off, I volunteer for a rescue to give even more dogs what they deserve: kindness, patience, and someone who understands them. I’ve worked with dogs of every size, every temperament—ones who hate other dogs, ones who crave connection, ones who don’t know how to trust yet. And I never rush them. This isn’t just walking to me—it’s healing. It’s being the calm when they’re overwhelmed. The routine when life feels uncertain. The gentle voice they learn to follow. I care deeply, and I’ll care just as much for yours. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands your dog’s heart, please reach out—I’d love to meet you both. i work weekends from 8-6 in animal care. i work part time weekdays in a grocery store. my schedule changes weekly. i get my schedule every thursday for the following week. in my own home, i have a fully fenced in yard. i live with my parents so my dogs get two long walks a day and yard time, however i am unable to sit for dogs at my own house as i have a reactive dog

“First meeting with Kyla went well!”

“Jonathan has been very helpful walking my dog while my family is sick. He was very prompt with messages and scheduling our session, and was prompt arriving and returning for the walk. We will use him again when needed. We also loved his rates, very reasonable and fair for a half hour or full hour. I recommend him.”

“It is such a relief to know that my Border Collie, Ace, has someone like Filipe taking of him while I'm at work. I love seeing all the photos that Filipe takes while out with my dog, and it's clear that Ace is having a blast. Thank you for saving my butt on more than one occasion!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for over 5 years. I currently have 4 cats of my own and treat them like family. Friends and neighbors often count on me to help feed, groom, and play with their pets. I’m comfortable with administering basic medications and keeping pets calm and happy while their owners are away. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after 2 PM. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, or cuddles, I’ll make time for them with love and care. I have a safe, fenced yard and two gentle, well-socialized dogs who love making new friends. Your pet will enjoy a cozy and supervised environment. I can also crate your dog if needed and will always follow your instructions to ensure your pet feels secure and happy.

About: I have always had a dog growing up. I got my first dog of my own in 2019 as a rescue and since have adopted a second dog as a rescue as well. I have great joy in helping dogs with a challenging past overcome their obstacles and open up to the world again. I have experience with older dogs that require medication, younger high energy dogs that need more mental stimulus and puppies that require constant redirection and training. I love all dogs. I have a calm approach with dogs which generally makes them quick to accept me and want to be around me even those that tend to be more timid. I currently work at the hospital and I’m in school at Lakehead for nursing. My schedule can be a bit chaotic at times but generally Sunday through Wednesday I have gaps in my day that allow for me to help out. I have a large yard, it is not fenced but dogs with good recall can run around and others I use a long lead so they can enjoy the yard while still being within control.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with pets of all sizes and species. I’ve cared for dogs from playful puppies to gentle seniors, as well as a variety of other animals. I understand each pet’s unique needs and provide personalized care, ensuring they feel loved and secure while you’re away. Working part-time at a restaurant allows me the flexibility to dedicate quality time to pet care. I make it a priority to plan my schedule around providing attentive and reliable care, ensuring your pets receive the love, attention, and exercise they need throughout the day. In my home or yours, I create a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for pets. I follow your specific care instructions, whether that means feeding schedules, administering medications, or ensuring plenty of playtime and cuddles. I prioritize keeping pets happy, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away.
