About: I have owned 3 cats and fostered one cat, and I have also lived in homes with dogs and enjoy small dogs especially. I like to focus my attention on rescue cats and pride myself on breaking down barriers with animals by getting to know them individually and reading their signals for affection, playtime, and care. My special skills are with high-needs cats. I own a cat named Talon with epilepsy who is a rescue, and my previous cat, Simba, who is no longer with us, suffered from HCM. My current cat Talon suffers from behavioural issues and seizures and I have gotten him to really open up through his complicated health history. I also have had a lot of experience in dealing with kittens, as I had my own cat, Simba, from six weeks old, and never left his side. However, I do love a beautiful pure-breed cat or dog and had a Siamese as a child, whom I carried to the grocery store in my jacket pocket. What sets me apart is my patience towards animals and my ability to read and show empathy to challenging animals. I am currently a full-time student studying Social Work online and can do pretty much anytime a bus route is present. I don't have many commitments besides the care of my own animals. I live downtown and have proximity to most places, being on the 10 route as well, within walking distance of the centre city. I can provide daily litter cleaning, feeding, and watering, and basic medication administration. I am also willing to take them outside or spend time with them playing and providing them with comfort while their pawrents are not home.

I’m extremely interested in animal health and behaviour, and am a gentle, calm person. I’ve done in-home pet sitting for dogs in the past, off of the Rover app. Rover only lists cats and dogs, but I’m also happy to care for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, fish, reptiles, and any other small pets! I have two rabbits and two gerbils of my own. :) Just use the “cat” option when sending a request if booking for something other than a dog/cat, I’m happy to adjust the rate as needed. Weekdays between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm are unfortunately limited due to my school schedule, but I’m fully available for early-morning visits (6–7 am) and evenings after 3:30 pm. I’m also completely open on weekends and major holidays. If you need a weekday daytime visit, feel free to send a request, I’ve still been booking weekday clients & am happy to discuss options! I’ve used pet sitting services for my own pets, so I understand how intimidating it can feel allowing a stranger into your home to take care of your animal friends while you’re away! I’ll follow any instructions carefully, leave things how I found them, and keep you updated with photos or messages.

About: We're a very experience dog family with almost 50 years of combined pet experience. Our pack currently comprises of 3 rescues, Clementine (11 yo female Black Lab) , Chuba (3 year old Female Corgi) and Giornk (3 year old Jack Russel) We have been fostering dogs for years and have had dozens of dogs come through this house so everyone is quite used to new smells and faces of all sizes. Our pack is so easy going and just wants to play - your dog will feel right at home. We also have an 8 year old daughter who wants to become a vet and has an unconditional love for all dogs - your dog is guaranteed to get lots of love. Lori is at home full time so there will always be someone home with your dog (on top of our entire pack of 3 dogs) We have a fully fenced in yard where the dogs spend a considerable amount of time just being dogs. We also live right next to the walking trails in Mount Pearl and go on several walks per day.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with 3 German shepherds in my family and now I have a 2 year old husky of my own. I love spending time with my dog exploring and would love to have your pup tag along for the adventure. I have experience with; -crate training -dog walking/hiking -topical and oral medication administration I am a travel nurse who works 12 hour shifts but will be available on my days off. Please note: I am only able to provide house sitting in your accommodations. I am only able to accommodate 2 drop in visits/day if you live more than 10-15km from our address. I will ensure to provide a safe, loving and reliable experience by always communicating with you regarding your dogs needs. I will make sure your dog gets lots of love, regular potty breaks, and scheduled meal times. I love long walks and hikes and would love to bring your dog along for the adventure. About: All pets will be loved and taken care of, they will definitely be my priority during the time they are with me. Had dogs for the major part of my childhood, so growing up connecting to pets is not much of a problem for me. Will be playing with them pretty much all the time for sure, do not have to worry about any kinds of danger, safety will be ensured first. About: I've been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember, and they've always held a special place in my heart. At the age of 7, I welcomed my first dog, Luna, and since then, I've discovered a new kind of love. Back home, I have two French poodles and, five beloved cats. I have a highly flexible schedule and am always available to help out, even outside of my regular hours, in case of emergencies. I'm fully available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and after 5 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I reside in a spacious 3-bedroom house in Downtown, offering ample indoor space. Additionally, Bannerman Park is conveniently located just in front of my residence, providing an excellent outdoor experience and opportunities for delightful walks.
About: I’ve had a dog since I was a young child. I had a Gordon setter for 11yrs who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I love animals and have helped many of my friends with caring for and training their dogs. I also follow owner’s instructions closely and accurately. Also, prices are adjustable, let’s discuss :) I currently work full time Monday to Friday, however, I’m free most evenings and weekends. This allows for my schedule to be a bit flexible. I can help with crating, food/water, play time, walking, and other training activities. I can walk them around the neighborhood and on a leash. I would not bring them to a dog park and will ensure the dog has one on one time.

Kristen was incredible from the start, very accommodating to our girl. She was quite nervous in the beginning, Kristen was understanding and caring. Very responsive when I was checking in. We are extremely pleased with how she cared for Rue. We could tell upon our return that Kristen was a good fit because she kept going over to her and nudging her and indicating on her. This tells me she did a great job.
Juan was excellent. First time using Rover and it was a great experience. Due to a snow storm we asked him to come 2 days early with no notice and he didn't hesitate and it was Christmas Eve! We were able to visit family and feel that our house and animals were looked after. We left in such a scramble and the house was cleaner on our return. We booked Alexis to stay at our house for 5 days while we were away in Montreal, and she was absolutely amazing. She took care of our two female golden retrievers — a 5-month-old puppy and a 5-year-old — plus our senior cat, and managed all of them perfectly. She sent daily photos and updates, was super responsive, and handled the puppy’s energy like a pro — both dogs were happily tired every day. She also made sure our older girl got her pills daily, which isn’t always easy. When we got home, all three pets were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. The house was exactly as we left it — clean, tidy, and in great shape. I’d absolutely recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable sitter who genuinely cares about your pets.
