My academic credentials include a bachelors degree in marine biology and a masters in animal behaviour. I have been interested in living beings and animal welfare all of my life. I've had pets and spent time with farm and wild animals since a very young age, plus I have worked as a pet sitter on Rover and helped pet owners in St. John's NL metro area for the past 5 years.

I am able to stay at my clients' home as long as it is needed taking care of their pet(s), providing food, medicine and activity as required. I will take care of their pets and their home as if they were mine. I follow camping etiquette "leave it better than you found it".

Juan was excellent. First time using Rover and it was a great experience. Due to a snow storm we asked him to come 2 days early with no notice and he didn't hesitate and it was Christmas Eve! We were able to visit family and feel that our house and animals were looked after. We left in such a scramble and the house was cleaner on our return. Definitely recommend Juan and will be saving his details for any future trips. Thank you so much Juan!

My dogs absolutely love Pablo. He handles my two dogs with love and patience. As always he’s very flexible and happy to help even last minute when I injured my foot and couldn’t walk them.
Juan went above and beyond to get to know my pets, their quirks and their routines before the holiday booking. Often staying longer than the pre booked 30 minute walk. Juan even took time off work to spend more time with them on the first few days of the holiday booking. I hate leaving my pets behind to go on holiday, but thanks to Juan I was able to relax and enjoy my ten days. We kept in daily contact and there were absolutely no issues. Juan even took the puppies shopping for sone more dentastix! When I got home, the house was clean and tidy. Juan had cleaned sheets and towels ( both his and the dogs) and hadn’t complained about my huskies! Shedding!!! An overall great experience. I’d book Juan again in a heartbeat! Thank you so so much

Schedule
I work in retail and my schedule isn't fixed, therefore I can only entertain home sitting requests (overnight stays) as long as pets can be left alone several hours a day. I'm not able to provide boarding or drop-in services at this time because I'm not allowed to have pets in my place of residence and my work schedule being variable makes it impossible for me to commit to scheduled visits.
