About: Growing up with pets my whole life I have lots of experience with small and large breeds. I have taken care of anxious pups, ones with loads of energy, and small puppies. I have a senior dog myself and I have plenty of experience with unique needs that may come with age. I’m a Social Work student at Memorial. About: All pets will be loved and taken care of, they will definitely be my priority during the time they are with me. Had dogs for the major part of my childhood, so growing up connecting to pets is not much of a problem for me. Will be playing with them pretty much all the time for sure, do not have to worry about any kinds of danger, safety will be ensured first. Any kind of special care requested will be happily accepted and extra attention will be payed towards the concern. About: I have just moved to St John’s, NL from NB as my wife (originally from St John’s recently got a job here). I had to retire early from municipal engineering a few years ago due to complications from a large brain tumour. I spend each day seeking joy and fun in the east end. I have a kitty Bertha. Victoria was truly amazing! She watched our three cats while we went out of town and it was so nice to go on a trip and not worry about our babies. From the first meeting we could tell she loved animals and we could expect the cats to be well taken care of. She sent plenty of very thorough updates as well as many pictures throughout the stay. She also left the house perfectly clean and all of our cats were clearly relaxed when we returned and they do not like just anyone, even with friends they can wary when we leave. We will be using Victoria for all future stays whenever we can, we can’t recommend her enough!
We booked Victoria to take care of our senior English Setter during the night of our wedding, and we could not be happier with the care she provided to him. She consistently communicated how he was doing over her entire stay, when and what he was eating (which we especially appreciated as he had not been eating much the week before she arrived), and whether he had taken his medication. Victoria gave us confidence the moment we met her that we would not have to worry about our old man while he was in her care.
