About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 14, but was a volunteer at the Gander SPCA since the 6th grade! I’ve cared (and owned) for dogs, cats and small animals, and have 2 years experience of working at a pet store prior to moving to St. John’s. I also received animal care training in that position. I love all animals and would love to care for your sweet pets!! I’m currently taking my courses online so I’m available at most times! I spend almost all my days at home so your pets will receive as much attention as necessary. Though my yard is not fenced in I am still willing to take your animals out as much as necessary, they will have lots of room to run around the house too!! I live only 2 minutes away from Bowring park and go there everyday for a huge walk with Bodhi living close is such a blessing cause he loves the park. So you can count on your dog getting a nice big walk in during the day :) Bodhi is a super loving and playful dog who loves other dogs and playing so you know your dog will have a best friend when they stay with us. About: I am very experienced with puppies, adults, and senior dogs, as well as cats and birds. I am quite comfortable administering medications and providing training and playtime. We have had our current dog since she was a puppy and took on a lot of the training responsibilities. I used positive reinforcement through pets and words of encouragement, treats, and clicker training. I have also taken care of a senior dog who required medications, physical support, and diapering. I have experience with large breed dogs as our previous dog was a Great Pyrenees who required regular walks, grooming, and playtime. We have had our 16-year-old cat since he was born. He is diabetic but is no longer insulin dependent. His diabetes is now managed with his specific diet, so I understand the importance of sticking to a plan and schedule. I am currently working part-time and would love to spend some time with your fur babies - snuggling on the couch or placing tug of war. I never walk dogs off-leash unless it's at an owner-approved dog park and inside an enclosed area. I always walk on the sidewalks where possible and I stay on the side of traffic. I am always cautious when entering a house with cats to ensure no escapes occur on my watch. I always follow the owner's training and house rules to the best of my ability. I also have volunteered for a dog rescue in Germany/Greece as well as here in Canada and have been a foster for puppies from Labrador and rescues from Texas since 2023. About: Always loved animals and taking care of them. For as long as i can remember i have taken care or my own, as well as friends and families dogs whenever needed. Overnight watching, drop ins, walking, feeding, etc have all been apart of it. About: I have been providing dog sitting services for some time now and decided to extend services through Rover in February 2026. I am an huge animal lover, adore nature and just want to give families the peace of mind when going away that I would want for my dogs. I have owned many dogs and have fostered too many to count. I was president of a rescue group for 10 years, 25 years volunteering with rescue groups and have extensive experience with small and large dogs, I have completed multiple obedience courses and have a strong knowledge of basic dog obedience and training. In order to get to know the needs and routines of all the dogs I care for, I ask each owner to complete a questionnaire outlining all I would need to know while caring for their dog.
