“Cassandra was so amazing! It eased my mind while travelling out of the Country for the week to have to watch both of my dogs! Updates and photos were provided throughout the week and it was easy to tell both dogs loved having her watch them!! Very much recommend her :)”

2. Deanna S.
About: I have had pets my entire life-growing up I had 2 dogs, 3 cats, hamsters, ferrets, and birds. I have spent a lot time with farm animals and exotic pets-I am an animal lover all around and so are my family. Now, as an adult with my own home, I have a dog, a cat (who crossed the rainbow bridge May 2024) and 2 rabbits. I LOVE animals and understand the importance of someone trust worthy and kind taking care of your furry family member. I have taken care of family and friend’s pets many times which includes caring for dogs, cats, fish, ferrets, and rabbits. I also have experience administering medication and giving insulin needles. I am not a professional dog trainer but I have a West German working line German Shepherd and I understand the fundamentals of training and am comfortable carrying out training with your pet in your absence. I’m currently working full time but I am working from home and work a 8AM-4PM schedule. I have a dog and 2 rabbits so any pet would need to be friendly with at least other dogs. My rabbits are downstairs and are secured with a baby gate and closed door so a pet who is friendly with rabbits is not a must as they would not be exposed to them. My dog is also fully vaccinated and spayed. My dog usually does well with other dogs as long there is a proper introduction first and she loves people. She is fully vaccinated and spayed. When it comes to cats, she grew up with a cat who she loved (he has since passed away) and she spends a lot of time with my parent’s cat. She mostly keeps her distance from cats as she is afraid of them. I also have a fully fenced in back yard and live minutes away from a dog park and walking trails.

4. Kathryn F.
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and they have always been treated as family. I grew up taking care of my grandparents rescue German shepherd and then their mixed breed rescue. In university I got my first dog, my soul dog Maggy who was a Rottweiler, I worked extensively with her to ensure she was trained properly via many socializing outings and mental stimulation. Everyone who met Maggy loved her and always commented on how well behaved she was. My other dogs Rosie and Willie were both rescues and were treated in the same manner. I love all dogs big and small, puppies and seniors. I have given medication to my dogs in the past and am comfortable to do so with your pets if needed. Currently working full time Monday to Friday with flexibility to work in St. John’s so your pets needs can be attended to in the evenings with weekends free to pet sit in your home. Experienced and trustworthy, I provide personalized care in your dogs home to reduce stress for them and you, provide personalized attention and playtime, peace of mind with regular updates, medication administration (if needed), regular exercise, and availability for overnight stays.

5. Elena K.

“This was my first time using Rover but it will definitely not be my last. I was a little nervous leaving my pup with a stranger however I had friend use the app and told me about training/background checks. I had family visiting from out of town & wanted to spend the evening with them but my pup was spayed last week so didn’t want to leave her alone and wanted for her to stay at our home. The communication prior with Elena was excellent. As soon as I met her, I knew my pup was in the best hands & was instantly reassured. My pup is a pretty good judge of character & it was obvious she picked up on Elena’s calm presence. Elena sent me pics & updates. I can’t thank Elena enough!! Highly highly recommend.....I’ve already recommended her to friends & will be using her again!! Thank you!! Kelly & Mya ?”

6. Katherine C.
“Having known Kate for her entire life, I can’t recommend her enough as a pet caregiver! She’s incredibly dedicated, hardworking, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. With several years of prior experience as a pet sitter under her belt, and having handled pets ranging from unruly to unwell, she knows exactly how to handle different situations and make sure they feel comfortbale. I’ve seen firsthand how responsible she is, and I’m confident she’d be an amazing caregiver for any pet!”

7. Fairy C.
