About: I have a Westie and a Gordon Setter. Both love other dogs. Everything I do revolves around them. I have had much experience having other dogs in my home. Our little family is welcoming, quiet and happy. We have hosted larger and smaller breeds. I have a fenced backyard which also offers some freedom to our furry friends. My own dogs are very well behaved and friendly. They love other dogs and even some people ;-) I currently work from home so my schedule offers me a lot of free time. I always make our guests part of the family. They have full run of the house. I always say this is like going to Grandmas, the rules are very flexible and cuddles are a must! Pets are my priority. Most people who know me know that my life revolves around them. My usual excuse is “I can’t, I have dogs to get home to”. And I’m perfectly happy with that. I believe that their lives are so short already, they deserve to have as much of our attention and love as possible.
About: I’ve owned and loved animals all my life, from exotics to dogs and everything in between. I turned my love for animals into a career when I graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program in 2021 and have been working with animals daily ever since. I have over 30x certification in animal education including Animal Behaviour, Animal Enrichment and pet first-aid. I have experience administering various medications, including oral meds and insulin for diabetic pets, and caring for sweet seniors. Use code OLIVIB25064 to get $20 off your first booking with me on Rover. I’m currently working full time, but can accommodate in the afternoon and evenings for check-ins. If you have any questions on availability, please reach out! I’m happy to help in anyway I can. My cat is an indoor only cat, so her daily care is litter box duties, meal time, and play time. My dogs get their daily walk in, or swimming if the weather is nice. I have my own hobby farm and care for various livestock including chickens, goats, sheep, and my alpaca Kevin. I try to incorporate as much enrichment as I possibly can every day! My goal is to care for your pets the best I can, whether it is walks, playtime, mealtime, etc. I will keep your pup in your preferred routine that makes them the happiest while you’re away!

About: I am a highly active, vegan, compassionate animal lover. I provide great companionship to your pet, gaining a friend, not just a dog walker/sitter. I have been caring for, sitting, and walking dogs for over 10 years. I have a very strong love for all animals, big and small. Life is not the same without a pet in it. In the past I have always volunteered to walk shelter dogs, as well as short term foster dogs from local rescue groups. I have experience with extra large breeds (Newfoundland, German Shepard, Rotweilers), as well as small breeds (teacup chihuahuas, Maltese). I have experience giving pets medication, both pill and injection forms, as well as brushing, teeth brushing, and nail clipping! Contact me today. I would love to discuss my future with you and your pet !

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind. I was the best pet sitter in my family back home. My family and friends have relied on me many times to walk and feed their pets. It is honestly the best time for me as I love spending time with pets. You will have no concerns whatsoever. Any special or specific needs can be also discussed. I’m currently a student at Mun so this would be a part time job for me from home. My availability is pretty open as well. Your pets will definitely receive all the attention and care they need. They will most definitely be my first priority. I have no other house rules, they can freely explore. All I ask is home trained.

Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Bay Roberts stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bay Roberts choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
