I hike with my own dog daily for at least 1 hour, and would love to have your furry loved ones join us! I currently work full-time but can flexibly accommodate drop in visits and walks during the week with sufficient notice. Friday to Sunday I am available for pet boarding at my home. I have a fenced yard and one senior English Setter to keep your furry friends company. My home is pet safe and animals are allowed on the furniture and beds. “Katarina and Shane were so wonderful and accommodating. This was the longest we have ever left our baby girl and she had such a great time. She was allowed on the couch and even got to spend time with other dogs in the their house. They were very responsive with messaging back and they sent pictures throughout her stay. They even modified the booking for an extra day when our trip home was delayed. Shady immediately loved Katarina as soon as she opened the door at drop off. Shady was more excited to go with her at drop off then she was to come home with us at pick up. We would absolutely have Shady stay with them on any future trips! I wish I could put 10 stars!”

We currently don’t have any pets at home. We are still mending our hearts after the recent passing of our beloved dog, who was a very special part of our family. Because of this, we understand just how much your furry family member mean to us. Our home includes our loving 6 year old boy, so visiting dogs must be comfortable and good with children. We’re happy to accommodate your pup’s individual routine, personality, and needs to help them feel comfortable and at home while they’re with us. For overnight stays, sleeping in a crate is preferred, as we want to provide a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for everyone. Most importantly, your pup will receive plenty of love, attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles while they’re here.

I was raised by parents that worked with animals and learned a lot about how to care and connect with them. Iam able to administer medications and attend to dogs of any age including puppies. When my husband and I got a dog of our own for the first time our hearts became even more full with love for animals Wich is something I didn’t think possible. Being a dog mom to a loving happy and goofy dog like Bodhi has changed my life. He is truly the heart of our home and caring for him is so fulfilling. I am an artist currently working from home so I am incredibly flexible when it comes to dog care. I have tons of time for play and walks and cuddles so your pet will get lots of attention. On weekends my husband and I go hiking when the weather is good and love to take Bodhi for the nature and exercise, we love to be outside. I live in a great ground floor condo with a walkout porch and a front lawn, right next to me there is a yard with a fence separating us from any traffic or stores. There is lots of room for play and fun and makes potty breaks convenient and easy :) My neighbours are all dog lovers as well and welcome all new furry friends with loving arms. I live only 2 minutes away from Bowring park and go there everyday for a huge walk with Bodhi living close is such a blessing cause he loves the park. As most dogs do, it’s a great place to walk them and let them explore. So you can count on your dog getting a nice big walk in during the day :) Bodhi is a super loving and playful dog who loves other dogs and playing so you know your dog will have a best friend when they stay with us. Dogs are welcome in the bed, on the couch and anywhere in our home. They are family and are treated as such :)

I build regular daily outdoor activity into my schedule and understand the importance of consistency for dogs. I am also flexible and can adjust to the needs of a dog when needed and I want to provide them with a place they can be content while their owner is away. Each dog is unique and I support a daily/weekly plan that supports their uniqueness. In order to get to know the needs and routines of all the dogs I care for, I ask each owner to complete a questionnaire outlining all I would need to know while caring for their dog. I treat each dog like my own and they are fully integrated into all aspects of our household. Regular interaction, belly rubs and treats (with owner permission) are daily occurrences.
