About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—dogs and cats. I’ve helped care for family pets, walked neighborhood dogs, and provided overnight care for friends and family while they were away. I’m confident handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I treat every animal like my own—with patience, love, and respect. Whether it’s a long walk, some playtime, or just company, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away👍 I’m currently doing online studies and not working at the moment, which allows me to offer a very flexible schedule. I’m available Monday through Saturday for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. Whether your pet needs attention during the day or evening, I’m happy to work around your schedule. Sundays are my only day off, but feel free to reach out anytime! I understand how important it is to feel confident when someone is caring for your pet in your home. I treat every home with the utmost respect and care, just as I would my own. I follow any specific instructions you provide and always prioritize your pet’s routine, safety, and comfort. I take time to build trust with both pets and owners, creating a calm and reliable environment. Your pet’s well-being—and your peace of mind—are my top priorities. If you’d like updates while you’re away, I’m more than happy to send messages, photos, or videos so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and well cared
“This was our first time using this service. We went and interviewed with Steve. He was very kind and and polite when we met. We decided to book with him. And he treated our girl like his own. She was so very well looked after. We can not say enough about it. When we checked in on her. We were given pics to show how happy she was. As well as any news. What a great experience we have had and moving forward as long as he is free we will be booking with Steve again. If you need someone. Meet with Steve and his care for your pet will be amazing.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life in some capacity, however in 2022, I started taking care of others dogs while they were away or working. I thoroughly enjoyed helping the clients and they all knew that the dog would be taken care of just like they were my own baby. I have lots of experience with all breeds and have had a small breed myself as well as large breeds. My first little guy lived until he was almost 19, and his life span was supposed to be 14-16. My vet always said he was running on love. When he turned 16 he lost bladder control and at 17 he became blind but was still so happy and full of life. You’d think he was a puppy! I decided to study training and behaviour so I could help him keep safe, and thankfully he did. As a result I’ve become familiar with training and even trained my large breed baby to be a service dog. She absolutely loved to help and even helped family and friends as well. I am available at any time, and any day. If you do not see an availability on the calendar, please feel free to contact me and I will see what I can do for you! At my home I have many places that I can take the doggos on a walk as being downtown leaves endless options. As well I have a small patio and small fenced in yard in the back. I like to take the dogs for a walk about every three hours or according to the dogs capabilities if sooner or less is needed. They are allowed to treat my home like their own and will get lots of love and attention.
About: I've always been good with animals, I'm great at understanding their body language and respecting their boundaries. I have good control of my tone of voice when speaking to animals and they respond to it well. I've taken care of dogs and cats myself. I've even kept a bunny company. I have a lot of patience, and I genuinely care about the wellbeing of every living being I come across so I take their care very seriously. I'm currently working part-time tutoring through zoom. I'm going back to university classes in the fall semester but I have a pretty flexible schedule at the moment. I'm very attentive and careful when taking care of them, I've cared for puppies and kittens as well. I don't leave them out of my sight. I play with them and make sure they're behaving.
About: I have been providing dog sitting services for some time now and decided to extend services through Rover in February 2026. I am an huge animal lover, adore nature and just want to give families the peace of mind when going away that I would want for my dogs. I have owned many dogs and have fostered too many to count. I was president of a rescue group for 10 years, 25 years volunteering with rescue groups and have extensive experience with small and large dogs, I have completed multiple obedience courses and have a strong knowledge of basic dog obedience and training. Dogs are a huge part of my life. I have regular clients I walk and that I provide pet sitting for in my home. I love to walk, hike, and jog. I build regular daily outdoor activity into my schedule and understand the importance of consistency for dogs. I am also flexible and can adjust to the needs of a dog when needed and I want to provide them with a place they can be content while their owner is away. Each dog is unique and I support a daily/weekly plan that supports their uniqueness. In order to get to know the needs and routines of all the dogs I care for, I ask each owner to complete a questionnaire outlining all I would need to know while caring for their dog. I treat each dog like my own and they are fully integrated into all aspects of our household. Regular interaction, belly rubs and treats (with owner permission) are daily occurrences.
About: 🐾 Welcome! I’ve been around dogs and animals my entire life and have cared for them since I was a child. As a true dog lover, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and building a connection with them. They bring so much happiness into my life, and I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I have a 3-year-old dog named Neo and 11 months old pup named Theo, they are friendly, playful, and loving pups. They enjoy meeting other dogs and would be happy to have some furry friends to spend time with. We provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where your dog can feel comfortable, relaxed, and part of the family. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to know your dog is in good hands. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy, and well looked after. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! 🐶❤️ Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I make time each day for walks, feeding, playtime, and providing companionship. I am committed to giving pets the attention, care, and affection they deserve while ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pet. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and I will treat your furry family member with the same care, patience, and attention that I give my own dogs. Our home provides a safe, loving, and welcoming environment where pets can relax, play, and feel comfortable. We maintain a consistent routine, provide close supervision, and ensure every dog receives plenty of exercise, affection, and care. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind, knowing their dog is safe, happy, and treated like part of the family while they’re away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
