We recently used Chantelle for her dog walking services, and she also gave our dog her daily oral medication as needed. We were very happy with her professionalism, friendliness and communication skills. We got updates from Chantelle everyday through texts as well as a photo of our dog on her walk. It was such a relief to know that while we were, our dog was in really good hands. We would highly recommend her. We will definitely be using her again for dog sitting needs. Thank you Chantelle, all the best.

About: I have owned 3 cats and fostered one cat, and I have also lived in homes with dogs and enjoy small dogs especially. I like to focus my attention on rescue cats and pride myself on breaking down barriers with animals by getting to know them individually and reading their signals for affection, playtime, and care. My special skills are with high-needs cats. I own a cat named Talon with epilepsy who is a rescue, and my previous cat, Simba, who is no longer with us, suffered from HCM. My current cat Talon suffers from behavioural issues and seizures and I have gotten him to really open up through his complicated health history. I also have had a lot of experience in dealing with kittens, as I had my own cat, Simba, from six weeks old, and never left his side. However, I do love a beautiful pure-breed cat or dog and had a Siamese as a child, whom I carried to the grocery store in my jacket pocket. What sets me apart is my patience towards animals and my ability to read and show empathy to challenging animals. I am currently a full-time student studying Social Work online and can do pretty much anytime a bus route is present. I don't have many commitments besides the care of my own animals. I live downtown and have proximity to most places, being on the 10 route as well, within walking distance of the centre city. I can provide daily litter cleaning, feeding, and watering, and basic medication administration. I am also willing to take them outside or spend time with them playing and providing them with comfort while their pawrents are not home.

About: Having grown up with two lovely Maltese/Shi Tsu crosses, I cannot imagine life without fur babies! They are an absolute gift and treasured members of the family. Growing up in BC I was spoiled with an abundance of nature, and some of my best memories are long walks with my dogs in my hometown of Kamloops and on Vancouver Island. After moving to Toronto and completing my BFA, I travelled for several years and my connection to all kinds of animals grew. I eventually made my way to the opposite coast, found my dream home and partner and have now settled in St. John’s. I have a senior Schnoodle named Butters who is my baby, and along with my partner and his two sweet cats Rufus and Minnie, have a beautiful happy family. I have a flexible schedule and I now want more daily interaction with the animals that give me such joy! Currently working sporadically on contracts as a freelance contemporary dancer. My senior boi has separation anxiety so I am currently mostly a stay at home mom for him! It’s just about a full time job taking care of 3 fur babies at home, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! For house calls I will spend as much time as needed, I love just hanging out and engaging with animals.

About: I've been surrounded by pets for as long as I can remember, and they've always held a special place in my heart. At the age of 7, I welcomed my first dog, Luna, and since then, I've discovered a new kind of love. Back home, I have two French poodles and, five beloved cats. Moving to St. John's has left me missing their companionship dearly. Becoming a pet sitter is my way of reconnecting with that joy and love. I'm eager to shower your furry friends with affection, take them for walks, engage in playtime, and ensure they have the best possible care while you're away.🥰🥰 I'm a student with plenty of time during weekdays. I have a highly flexible schedule and am always available to help out, even outside of my regular hours, in case of emergencies. I'm fully available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and after 5 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I reside in a spacious 3-bedroom house in Downtown, offering ample indoor space. Additionally, Bannerman Park is conveniently located just in front of my residence, providing an excellent outdoor experience and opportunities for delightful walks.

About: I have been taking care of my own dogs since I was in 6th grade and have additional pet-sitting experience for several family members and friends. I absolutely LOVE all types of pets - big or small - and want to ensure your fur-baby feels safe, happy, and loved in your absence. I am a certified primary/elementary teacher with NLSchools, meaning I have full availability during the summer to give your fur-baby the best possible care while you are away. Following the end of summer vacation, I will be gone during the day (M-F) for periods of up to 8 hours. I will do my best to accommodate any/all of your pet’s needs. I understand that every dog is different and may require special/additional care. As a pet-sitter in your home, I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect that they both deserve. ** Please note that my pets listed in my profile are family dogs that live with my parents. I keep them at my parent’s house when I am dog-sitting 😊

About: Animals have always been a part of my life — I’ve cared for cats, hamsters, parrots, and a guinea pig, and have occasionally helped with a friend’s dog. I’m confident in providing daily care, feeding, cleaning, and giving lots of attention to keep pets happy. Whether furry, feathered, or small, I make sure every animal feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I currently stay at home with a flexible schedule, caring for my children and managing household tasks. This allows me plenty of time to give pets attention, walks, and play throughout the day, including weekdays and weekends. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe, calm, and clean environment. While my backyard is not fenced, it is completely safe and offers plenty of space for supervised play and exercise. I always keep a close eye on pets to ensure they are happy, secure, and comfortable.

Paige was a pleasure to work with and a lifesaver when we were working late. She evidently cares for others pets like they are her own and I would trust her with our dog anytime we need a helping hand. We loved getting photos during the walks and our dog was clearly having a great time with Paige!

About: I have hands-on experience fostering dogs through the SPCA, which gave me the chance to care for pups of all ages, temperaments, and needs. On top of that, I’ve raised and trained my own puppy from the ground up, so I understand the patience and consistency needed for things like crate training, housebreaking, and leash manners. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like family, with a balance of structure, love, and playtime. I dedicate weekends and my days off to caring for pets, which means I can give them my full attention without rushing. This makes it easy for me to stick to each pet’s schedule, whether that’s walks, feedings, or cuddle breaks. In my home, pets get a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of playtime and attention. I follow any feeding or medication routines exactly as instructed. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space while making sure pets feel loved and secure from walks and play to quiet companionship. My goal is to keep their routine consistent so they feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs my whole life! From Shih Tzus to German Shepherds. Growing up, I was responsible for walking, bathing, feeding and cleaning up after my pets. Our dogs are family, and I always loved taking care of them as such. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I’ve trained puppies and cared for very senior dogs, and I have loved them all the same. I work from home full time, with a very flexible schedule. I can be available during the morning, day or evening, weekdays and weekends. My schedule allows me to take time out of my day when I need to, aka to walk your pup! I am very respectful of your space and how you typically care for you pets. The way you like things to be in your home with your pets is the way things will stay!

About: Ollie’s mom here! I was away recently as my dog recovered from knee surgery, I am back and looking forward to making new friends! I am a registered nurse who would love to help take care of your fur baby when you’re in need. I am flexible with my calendar and rates can be discussed if needed! As a shift worker I’ve had to ask for help caring for my own dog over the years and I understand how difficult it is to find someone you feel comfortable asking for help, and to trust with your baby, which is why I wanted to help other pet parents in need! I have lots of love and care to give and as a dog lover I would love the extra company and companionship. Rest assured they will be treated with the same love and care as my own, lots of love to share ♥️🐾 Reach out! Hello! I am a full time registered nurse and dog mom to my energetic boy, Ollie. As a nurse, I have availability during the week as well as weekends. We love going on walks, swimming, and being outdoors As a dog mom who’s pup had 2 knee surgeries I am familiar with any type of care you need, meds, rest, cuddles, and lots of love. Although I do not have a fenced yard your pup will safely be able to go out for supervised pee breaks on a long leash in my yard. I live near many trails, ponds, and bowring park. My dog Ollie is well socialized and loves all of his buddies at daycare, he would love to have the company of another dog. I am able to visit your place, take your pup to mine, or take them out for a stroll.

About: I have loved animals my entire life, and have never lived without pets. No matter the pet, trust they will be in experienced hands 🥰 not only will they have their needs met, they will be exceeded! I have a husky and a cat of my own, as well as my toddler (arguably a monkey), who all love making new friends of any kind. I'm also a nurse and experienced in rehabilitation, so I am more than comfortable with any medical requirements your babies may have 🥰 I work from home part time, so I have nothing but time to dedicate to caring for some new friends! I am flexible in day to day activities and can adjust according to yours and your pet's needs. My animals are my babies, and yours would get the same love mine do while I care for them, in mine or your home. My pets are tolerable to changes in routine, so if your pet is not, we can follow suit! We have a backyard, nearby walking trails and a dog park, as well as free roam of the indoor space with toys and comfy areas to rest. We don't care about hair – if your baby wants to spoon at night, then spoon at night we shall! If I am caring for your pets in your home, your space will be respected and kept as if it were my own. I am trustworthy and clean; your pet care is my priority.
